James Comer (R-KY) has accused the FBI of deliberately obstructing the House Oversight Committee&#8217;s investigation into the alleged bribery involving Hunter Biden, then-Vice President Joe Biden, and Ukrainian businessman Mykola Zlochevsky. Comer claims that the FBI is stalling and stonewalling, making it difficult for the committee to uncover the truth.<\/p>\n<h3>Additional documents shed light on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fbi-raids-detroit-city-hall-council-members-homes-in-light-of-corruption-probe\/\" title=\"FBI raids Detroit City Hall, council members\u2019 homes in light of corruption probe\">alleged bribery scheme<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>During a recent meeting, the Oversight Committee chairman and ranking member were able to view two additional documents related to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/report-biden-takes-vow-of-silence-regarding-trump-indictment\/\" title=\"Biden remains silent on Trump indictment, report says.\">alleged criminal bribery scheme<\/a>. These documents provide further insight into the involvement of Hunter Biden, Joe Biden, and Mykola Zlochevsky. However, one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/mi-judge-orders-dem-sec-of-state-to-release-all-communications-with-dominion-facebook-apple-amazon-and-google\/\" title=\"MI Judge Orders Dem Sec of State To Release All Communications With Dominion, Facebook, Apple, Amazon and Google\">documents provided<\/a> by the FBI was not what Comer had originally requested.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The FBI initially denied having these two documents, but we discovered their existence through footnotes in the original document provided by a whistleblower,&#8221; Comer explained. &#8220;Although heavily redacted, the dates on the documents were both from 2017. I specifically asked for the 2018 document, so this is a clear example of the FBI obstructing our investigation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3>Pursuing contempt of Congress proceedings against FBI Director Christopher Wray<\/h3>\n<p>Comer revealed that his committee is considering pursuing contempt of Congress proceedings against FBI Director Christopher Wray due to the agency&#8217;s obstruction. &#8220;We will use any option available to us, including contempt and impeachment, to ensure a thorough investigation,&#8221; Comer stated.
