Republicans are investigating these allegations, concerned that Biden may have used his influence as vice president to assist his family&#8217;s business dealings.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5260966\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\">\n        <a href=\"https:\/\/img.theepochtimes.com\/assets\/uploads\/2023\/05\/12\/id5260966-GettyImages-1251382645-1200x800.jpg\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\"><noscript><\/noscript><\/figcaption><\/a><br \/>\n    <\/figure>\n<p>On June 20, Comer visited the House sensitive compartmented information facility (SCIF) to see another FD-1023 form related to the allegations against Biden and his family. However, he discovered that over 50% of the documents were redacted, making it difficult to gather any substantial information.<\/p>\n<p>Comer expressed concerns that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/d-c-mayor-congress-must-open-a-probe-into-security-failures-at-u-s-capitol\/\" title=\"D.C. Mayor: Congress must open a probe into security failures at U.S. Capitol\">federal law enforcement<\/a> was withholding information from Republicans, as the document he saw was dated 2017, while earlier forms referenced others from 2018 that remain hidden.<\/p>\n<p>FD-1023 forms have been a point of contention between Comer and FBI Director Christopher Wray. Comer.\">heavily redacted documents provided<\/a> so far were insufficient.<\/p>\n<h2>Ranking Member Dismisses Document, Alleges Political Motives<\/h2>\n<p>Ranking Member Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), Comer&#8217;s Democratic counterpart on the panel, dismissed the contents of the document as &#8220;non-relevant&#8221; and claimed that the investigation into Biden&#8217;s bribery charges was politically motivated.<\/p>\n<p>Raskin accused Republicans of using these allegations to shield President Donald Trump, who is currently facing criminal charges.
