They didn\u2019t need to. They\u2019re having the last laugh.<\/p>\n<p>White House spokesman Ian Sams said in a statement, \u201cThe President and First Lady love their son and support him as he continues to rebuild his life. We will have no further comment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This, from the man who just three days ago was calling for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2023\/06\/16\/us\/politics\/biden-gun-control-laws.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/msnbc-calls-for-gun-control-after-shootingeven-though-it-happened-in-a-gun-free-zone\/\" title=\"MSNBC Calls For Gun Control After Shooting\u2026Even Though It Happened In A Gun-Free Zone\">stronger gun laws<\/a><\/a>\u00a0in another shameless display of rules for thee but not for me.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Comment from White House- the president and First Lady love their son and support him as he continues to rebuild his life we will have no further comment <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/WghlN3Xxgf\">pic.twitter.com\/WghlN3Xxgf<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Karli Bonne\u2019 (@KarliBonnita) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/KarliBonnita\/status\/1671155850067730432?\">June 20, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\nHunter Biden\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/woman-faces-decades-prison-firearms-charges-even-though-not-single-gun-real\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">firearm charges<\/a> involved a 2018 incident in which Hunter\u2019s firearm was thrown into a dumpster by his then-girlfriend in Wilmington, Delaware.<\/p>\n<p>Previous reports suggested that prosecutors were considering charges related to false statements made during the gun purchase, not to mention that it is a violation of federal law for individuals who use or are addicted to drugs, which Hunter Biden has publicly admitted to, to purchase a firearm.<\/p>\n<p>Authenticated emails from 2018 and 2019 revealed that\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/hunter-biden-reaches-agreement-prosecutors-bid-avoid-jail-time\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hunter Biden\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0debts were accumulating despite warnings from his bank, accountant, and others about his tax obligations. His attorney has attributed these difficulties to his addiction issues but stated that his client has now fully paid his\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/jim-jordan-exposes-evil-tactics-irs-agent-used-american-taxpayer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IRS<\/a>\u00a0tax debts.<\/p>\n<p>A Fox News\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/hunter-biden-agrees-plead-guilty-federal-tax-gun-case\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">report<\/a>\u00a0states that the U.S. Attorney for the District of Delaware, David C. Weiss, revealed that Hunter Biden had received taxable income exceeding $1.5 million annually in 2017 and 2018 but failed to pay the income tax owed, accumulating a debt of over $100,000 each year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDespite owing in excess of $100,000 in federal income taxes each year, he did not pay the income tax due for either year,\u201d Weiss\u2019 office told Fox News. \u201cAccording to the firearm Information, from on or about October 12, 2018, through October 23, 2018, Hunter Biden possessed a firearm despite knowing he was an unlawful user of and addicted to a controlled substance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Weiss\u2019 office said if convicted, Hunter Biden faces a maximum penalty of 12 months in prison on each of the tax charges \u2014 a total of two years \u2014 and a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison on the firearm charge.<\/p>\n<p>However, according to CNN\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/politics\/live-news\/hunter-biden-federal-investigation-06-20-23\/h_459e0fd886729494afad3a7ac8423ec5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sources<\/a>, it is expected that the Justice Department will recommend probation for the tax crimes.<\/p>\n<p>And, the felony gun possession charge will be \u201cdiverted,\u201d meaning it will be dismissed if Hunter Biden fulfills certain conditions for a specified period.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Hunter gets \u201cdiverted\u201d charge on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/presidents-son-gets-sweetheart-deal-from-feds-on-gun-tax-charges\/\" title=\"President\u2019s Son Gets Sweetheart Deal From Feds on Gun, Tax Charges\">felony gun crime<\/a>. Chuck Grassley of Iowa and\u00a0Ron Johnson\u00a0of Wisconsin initiated into Hunter Biden\u2019s foreign business activities in 2019?<\/p>\n<p>Grassley and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-sen-ron-johnson-blasts-cia-fbi-secret-service-missing-hunter-biden-records\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Johnson<\/a> said they obtained records from the U.S. Treasury Department that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-bidens-release-blood-boiling-statement-after-hunter-agrees-to-plea-deal\/\" title=\"The Bidens' statement on Hunter's plea deal is infuriating.\">showed \u201cpotential criminal activity relating<\/a> to transactions among and between Hunter Biden, his family, and his associates with Ukrainian, Russian, Kazakh and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/chinese-nationals-stopped-near-sensitive-alaskan-military-base-frightening-discovery-made-car-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chinese nationals<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, Senate investigators discovered millions of dollars in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grassley.senate.gov\/news\/news-releases\/fbi-possesses-significant-impactful-voluminous-evidence-of-potential-criminality-in-biden-family-business-arrangements\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cquestionable financial transactions\u201d<\/a> involving Hunter Biden, his associates, and foreign individuals.
