Titanic.<\/p>\n<p>Harding, who is one of five people aboard the missing submarine, <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/06\/20\/last-text-of-british-billionaire-in-missing-titanic-sub-revealed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told Virts<\/a> on Sunday that the weather off the coast of Newfoundland had been bad enough in recent days that sea travel would not have been possible \u2014 but he said that things were looking up.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHey, we\u2019re headed out tomorrow, it looks good, the weather\u2019s been bad so they\u2019ve been waiting for this,\u201d Harding told his friend via text message on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Harding, chairman of the Dubai-based Action Aviation, had shared the news that he was joining the mission via Instagram.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am proud to finally announce that I joined @oceangateexped for their RMS TITANIC Mission as a mission specialist on the sub going down to the Titanic,\u201d Harding wrote. \u201cDue to the worst winter in Newfoundland in 40 years, this mission is likely to be the first and only manned mission to the Titanic in 2023.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA weather window has just opened up and we are going to attempt a dive tomorrow. We started steaming from St. Johns, Newfoundland, Canada yesterday and are planning to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/billionaire-explorer-believed-to-be-aboard-missing-titanic-tourist-sub\/\" title=\"Billionaire explorer possibly on missing Titanic tourist sub.\">start dive operations<\/a> around <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/more-passengers-on-board-missing-titanic-sub-identified\/\" title=\"More Passengers On Board Missing Titanic Sub Identified\">4am tomorrow morning<\/a>. So he was very excited about it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Teams from the United States Coast Guard, Canadian Coast Guard, and the Canadian Armed Forces are searching an area the size of the state of Connecticut \u2014 over 5500 square miles \u2014 for the submersible.
