He looks forward to continuing his recovery and moving forward,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Weiss\u2019s office said in a statement, \u201cHunter Biden received taxable income in excess of $1,500,000 annually in calendar years 2017 and 2018.\u00a0Despite owing in excess of $100,000 in federal income taxes each year, he did not pay the income tax due for either year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Reactions to the news were harsh.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHunter Biden pleading guilty to a gun charge and misdemeanor tax charges with no jail time is a stunt to make him look like he is just cooperating with the [Department of Justice],\u201d Republican Rep.
