 text-align: center;\">  \t<script>  \t\tgoogletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1'); });  \t<\/script>  <\/div>\n<div class=\"ad-slot__ad-label\">Advertisement<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>Frank St John told Reuters that Lockheed, Aerojet\u2019s biggest customer, wanted L3Harris to ensure access to rocket motors, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/justice-department-paying-1-5-million-to-develop-transgender-specific-program-in-federal-prisons\/\" title=\"Justice Department Paying .5 Million to Develop Transgender-Specific Program in Federal Prisons\">fair pricing<\/a> and IP protections, adding it had received \u201clittle response\u201d from L3Harris over its concerns. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo date, we\u2019ve been unable to gain a commitment from L3Harris for those provisions as a merchant supplier,\u201d St John said in an interview at the Paris Airshow. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is really concerning to us because they are going to be vital to meeting the increasing demand that we\u2019re seeing on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/will-m1-abrams-and-leopard-2-tanks-win-the-war-for-ukraine\/\" title=\"Will M1 Abrams and Leopard 2 Tanks Win the War for Ukraine?\">multiple weapons systems<\/a>,\u201d such as the Javelin missile launcher and Patriot air defense system.<\/p>\n<p>If L3Harris continues to be unresponsive, Lockheed wants the Defense Department or FTC to put in place a mechanism to guarantee access to technology, St John said.<\/p>\n<p>L3Harris, Aerojet Rocketdyne, the FTC and Defense Department did not immediately respond to emailed requests for comment.<\/p>\n<p>L3Harris said in December it would buy Aerojet for $4.7 billion in cash as it looks to tap into rising demand for missiles amid the Ukraine conflict.<\/p>\n<p>Lockheed had previously attempted to buy Aerojet in a $4.4 billion deal, but walked away from the acquisition in February 2022 after the FTC sued to block the deal, citing concerns that Lockheed could <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/exclusive-lockheed-raises-concerns-over-l3harris-aerojet-deal\/\" title=\"Lockheed's Exclusive Concerns: L3Harris-Aerojet Deal\">hinder competitors\u2019 fair access<\/a> to Aerojet products.<\/p>\n<p>RTX executives, who opposed Lockheed\u2019s failed bid for Aerojet, have signalled they would not do the same in L3Harris\u2019 case, with RTX CEO Greg Hayes saying that L3Harris isn\u2019t a competitor in the missile business in an interview with defense trade publication Defense One.<\/p>\n<p>RTX Chief Operating Officer Chris Calio told Reuters in a Monday interview that \u201cany transaction that can bring investment, capability and capacity would be helpful.
