Officer Alexander Shaouni was caught speeding at an alarming rate of approximately 40 mph over the speed limit while on his way to work. To <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/5-financial-bubbles-that-made-gamestop-look-like-nothing\/\" title=\"5 Financial \u2018Bubbles\u2019 That Made Gamestop Look Like Nothing\">make matters worse<\/a>, he then attempted to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/new-york-ag-moves-to-toss-nra-bankruptcy\/\" title=\"New York AG Moves to Toss NRA Bankruptcy\">evade law enforcement<\/a> after being pulled over.<\/p>\n<p>It all started when a Seminole County sheriff\u2019s deputy noticed Shaouni driving his police cruiser at a staggering 80 mph in a 45 mph zone. Concerned for public safety, the deputy decided to intervene and pull him over.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cWhat?\u201d a combative Officer Shaouni is seen on body camera asking the sheriff\u2019s deputy. \u201cI am going into work, my man. Why are you trying to pull me over as I\u2019m going into work?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The sheriff\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/police-officer-fired-for-running-from-sheriff-after-he-was-pulled-over-for-speeding\/\" title=\"Police officer fired for fleeing sheriff after being stopped for speeding.\">deputy calmly responded<\/a>, \u201cBecause you\u2019re going 80 in a 45.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cWhat does it look like I am dressed for?\u201d Shaouni continued. \u201cWhat does it look like I am dressed for?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Despite the deputy&#8217;s request to see his driver&#8217;s license, Shaouni refused, turned his back on the deputy, and defiantly returned to his police cruiser, speeding away from the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Local media later reported that Shaouni was apprehended and now faces charges of reckless driving, resisting an officer, and fleeing and eluding law enforcement.<\/p>\n<h3>Immediate Action Taken by the Orlando Police Department<\/h3>\n<p>The Orlando Police Department wasted no time in addressing this serious incident. Upon being notified by the Seminole County Sheriff\u2019s Office, the department launched a thorough investigation into the matter.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThe Orlando Police Department was notified by the Seminole County Sheriff\u2019s Office on Friday, June 9th that OPD Officer Alexander Shaouni was involved in an incident that occurred in Seminole County that resulted in criminal charges,\u201d the department stated. \u201cOfficer Shaouni has been relieved of duty pending the Seminole County Sheriff\u2019s criminal investigation and OPD\u2019s Internal Affairs investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>This incident serves as a reminder that no one is above the law, not even those entrusted with upholding it.
