Todd Gillman, Washington bureau chief of the Dallas Morning News, expressed his confusion, stating, &#8220;Several of you have asked me why he said that. I have no idea. He said, &#8220;I know many people here who have been impacted by gun violence, lost someone they love, fought so hard for so many years.
