Think again.<\/h2>\n<p>A new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.retireguide.com\/retirement-life-leisure\/working-after-retirement\/americans-and-working-after-retiring-survey\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">poll<\/a> from Retire Guide has found that a majority of Americans (57%) see themselves working in retirement. In all, 43% reported they expect to work part time, while 14% expect to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/graham-if-democrats-call-witnesses-at-trial-we-will-call-democrats-thatve-used-inflammatory-language\/\" title=\"Graham: If Democrats Call Witnesses At Trial We Will Call Democrats That\u2019ve Used Inflammatory Language\">work full time<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cAs adults approach retirement age, their expectation to work goes up. Adults ages 30\u201360 were 10% more likely to expect to work during retirement than those ages 18\u201329. This might suggest that the typical American can\u2019t stay on track with their retirement plans over a long period,\u201d the pollsters said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The endless crunch since Biden took office \u2014 inflation soared 9.1% in June 2022 year-over-year and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/white-house-releases-list-of-president-trumps-accomplishments-and-it-is-historic\/\" title=\"White House Releases List of President Trump\u2019s Accomplishments \u2013  And It Is Historic!\">housing costs<\/a> were 8.1% higher in April compared to a year earlier \u2014 has pinched seniors. Of course, Biden and Democrats have done nothing to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/bidens-america-majority-of-americans-expect-to-work-in-retirement-poll-finds\/\" title=\"Poll: Majority of Americans anticipate working during retirement in Biden's America.\">address skyrocketing health care costs<\/a>, which means older Americans are being hit from every side.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The poll found that over the last two years, just 3 in 10 people have stayed on track with their retirement plans. More than a quarter (26%) said they plan to retire later than they expected, and 18% will retire with less savings than expected.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Nearly 10,000 Boomers \u2014 born between 1946 to 1964, which means they are now 59 to 77 years \u2014 reach retirement age each day.<\/p>\n<p>But in the age of Biden \u2014 with interest rates skyrocketing, and investment portfolios sagging \u2014 a lot of those older Americans are being forced to \u201cunretire,\u201d according to another recent survey.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cUnfortunately, the inflation-driven affordability crisis and the Federal Reserve\u2019s interest rate hikes meant to combat inflation have driven housing costs higher,\u201d USA Today reported this week. \u201cAs a result, retirees are moving back into the labor force. According to a survey by Paychex, 55% of retirees who went back to work said they did so because they needed more money, and 1 in 6 retirees is considering returning to work.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><b><a href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" aria-describedby=\"sk-tooltip-9096\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp&#038;source=gmail&#038;ust=1686769858594000&#038;usg=AOvVaw29MU9w81PAp3j3uHg4Fp5m\">CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cMost would want to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/government-unions-have-been-stealing-money-for-years-now-scotus-has-the-chance-to-intervene\/\" title=\"Government Unions Have Been Stealing Money For Years \u2014 Now, SCOTUS Has The Chance To Intervene\">work full-time<\/a> (65%) instead of part-time (35%). This could be due to a need for more money \u2014 the reason cited by 53% of respondents,\u201d Paychex <a href=\"https:\/\/12ft.io\/proxy?q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.usatoday.com%2Fstory%2Fopinion%2Fvoices%2F2023%2F05%2F28%2Finflation-government-spending-are-pulling-boomers-out-of-retirement%2F70254240007%2F\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a>. Some 55% of retirees went back to work because they said they needed more money.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Plus, Biden and congressional Democrats passed the so-called Inflation Reduction Act, which didn\u2019t offer a bit of help for the rising cost of food, housing, or energy prices. The latest debt deal passed on Wednesday will also deliver no relief whatsoever.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s been a perfect storm hammering seniors. Along with the soaring cost of living, \u201cmany older adults find themselves in deteriorating financial positions due to massive stock market losses in 2022,\u201d USA Today reported. Last year, more than $12 trillion in wealth disappeared as the Dow dropped 8%, the S&#038;P 500 19.4%, and Nasdaq 33%.<\/p>\n<p>An AARP <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aarp.org\/pri\/topics\/work-finances-retirement\/financial-security-retirement\/financial-security-trends-survey-wave2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">survey<\/a> late last year found more than a third of people 65 and older said their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/7-tips-to-boost-financial-wellness-no-matter-what-your-financial-situation\/\" title=\"7 Tips to Boost Financial Wellness, No Matter What Your Financial Situation\">current financial situation<\/a> at midyear was worse than a year before.
