Investigators are said to be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/man-charged-in-stabbing-death-of-another-alleged-subway-menace\/\" title=\"Man accused of killing another alleged subway troublemaker now faces charges.\">examining cell phone video<\/a> of the tussle as part of their inquiry.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Police sources <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/06\/14\/man-killed-on-nyc-train-punched-woman-before-fatal-stabbing-sources\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told the New York Post<\/a> that Ouedraogo, who records show did time in state prison for a 2009 attempted robbery, began to argue with Williams and his girlfriend when Ouedraogo struck the woman in the face. A fight ensued, during which Williams allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed Ouedraogo, after which Ouedraogo was transported to the hospital and pronounced dead.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Jason Goldman, a lawyer who claims to be representing Williams, decried the situation as \u201cupsetting\u201d because his client was \u201ccharged without a thorough investigation,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2023\/06\/14\/nyregion\/nyc-subway-stabbing-charges.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">according to The New York Times<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Another Deadly Train Incident Raises Concerns<\/h3>\n<p>The fatal altercation comes on the heels of another deadly train incident in which Marine veteran <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/marine-vet-accused-of-killing-jordan-neely-turns-himself-in-after-charge-against-him-revealed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Daniel Penny<\/a> placed Jordan Neely, a homeless street performer known to have mental issues and an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/prosecutions-star-witness-in-kyle-rittenhouse-trial-has-a-lengthy-criminal-record\/\" title=\"Prosecution\u2019s Star Witness in Kyle Rittenhouse Trial Has a Lengthy Criminal Record\u00a0\">extensive criminal history<\/a>, into a headlock last month on a New York City subway train. Neely, too, was allegedly shouting and threatening passengers before he was restrained.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>As seen in bystander video footage, Neely appeared to lose consciousness. He was pronounced dead after being taken to a hospital, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/subway-chokehold-jordan-neely-eric-adams-ny-32738691fce26628a698fc3b10550320\">Associated Press<\/a>. New York City\u2019s medical examiner <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/05\/03\/medical-examiner-rules-jordan-neelys-death-a-homicide-after-subway-choking\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ruled<\/a> Neely\u2019s death a homicide due to \u201ccompression of neck (chokehold),\u201d but the ruling did not determine culpability.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>More than a week after the incident, Penny <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/marine-vet-accused-of-killing-jordan-neely-turns-himself-in-after-charge-against-him-revealed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">surrendered<\/a> to law enforcement in New York on second-degree manslaughter charges, though Penny did not enter a plea and was released on $100,000 bail. A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/grand-jury-indicts-daniel-penny-in-death-of-jordan-neely-reports\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">grand jury indicted<\/a> in Manhattan then indicted Penny <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/legal\/new-york-grand-jury-indicts-former-marine-killing-jordan-neely-2023-06-14\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this week<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In video clips released by his lawyers over the weekend, Penny said he jumped into action to protect himself and commuters. In addition, Penny denied that race was a motivating factor. He called such claims \u201cabsolutely ridiculous,\u201d adding, \u201cI didn\u2019t see a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/grand-jury-indicts-daniel-penny-in-death-of-jordan-neely-reports\/\" title=\"Daniel Penny has been indicted by a grand jury in the death of Jordan Neely, according to reports.\">black man threatening passengers<\/a>.
