Peters\">commanding general<\/a> of U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, Gen. Gary Brito, has made the decision to relieve Maj. Gen. Kenneth Kamper from his position as the commanding general of the Fires Center of Excellence and Fort Sill. This comes as a result of a loss of trust and confidence, according to Army spokeswoman Cynthia Smith.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;While the allegations remain under investigation, it has been determined that Maj. Gen. Kamper&#8217;s removal is necessary,&#8221; Smith stated.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Maj. Gen. Kamper had been suspended in February following allegations of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fort-sill-commanding-general-relieved-of-command\/\" title=\"Fort Sill's commanding general has been removed from duty.\">repeatedly defying hunting rules<\/a> on the base. These allegations are currently being investigated. Kamper, who had been commander of Fort Sill since February 2020, previously served as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/report-iran-planned-assassinating-u-s-general-targeting-army-base\/\" title=\"Report: Iran Planned Assassinating U.S. General, Targeting Army Base\">deputy commanding general<\/a> for the III Armored Corps at Fort Cavazos, Texas.<\/p>\n<p>Although Kamper has not yet been reassigned, he remains in the Fort Sill area. In the meantime, Brig. Gen. Shane Morgan, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/officials-eleven-soldiers-hospitalized-after-ingesting-chemical-found-in-antifreeze\/\" title=\"Officials: Eleven Soldiers Hospitalized After Ingesting Chemical Found In Antifreeze\">deputy commander<\/a> of the Fires Center of Excellence, will serve as the interim commander until a replacement is chosen.<\/p>\n<h3>Fort Sill: A Strong and Stable Base<\/h3>\n<p>Fort Sill, home to approximately 20,000 troops, is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/humberto-fontova-biden-team-renews-law-enforcement-partnership-with-terror-sponsors\/\" title=\"Humberto Fontova: Biden Team Renews \u201cLaw-Enforcement\u201d Partnership with Terror Sponsors\">vital military installation<\/a>. It is where Ukrainian service members trained on the Patriot missile defense system.
