We\u2019re actually taught one of our core values is courage, and courage is not the absence of fear but how you handle fear,\u201d he said. \u201cI was scared for myself but I looked around there was women and children, he was yelling in their faces saying these threats. I just couldn\u2019t sit still.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After the death of Neely, who had a a lengthy history of mental illness and over 40 arrests, his family blamed New York authorities for not ensuring that he had gotten the care he needed. The family has also openly called for Penny to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/3-teens-charged-in-deadly-2020-house-fire-in-denver\/\" title=\"3 teens charged in deadly 2020 house fire in Denver\">face murder charges<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In May, while delivering the eulogy at Mount Neboh Baptist Church in Harlem, the Reverand Al Sharpton also criticized Penny, the authorities and their decisions.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cWho thought it was alright for this man to choke a brother to death and go home to see his family?\u201d Sharpton said. \u201cWho gave the order it was alright to release him?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Penny, who is currently out on $100,000 bail, is due back in court on July 17th.<\/p>\n<p>Stay informed!
