Wilk said. &#8220;I\u2019m not going to stay in this state, because it\u2019s too oppressive and I believe in freedom, and so I\u2019m going to move to America when I leave the legislature.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Parents in California already facing <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/politics\/tens-of-thousands-flee-san-francisco-as-liberal-leaders-struggle-with-crime-and-homelessness\/\">rampant crime<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/democrats\/this-california-city-each-month-removes-literal-tons-of-garbage-and-feces-from-homeless-camps\/\">homelessness<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/latest-news\/california-energy-prices-soar-to-highest-since-2020\/\">the rising cost of living<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/campus\/california-school-closures-harmed-poor-and-minority-students-study-shows\/\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/watch-state-senator-warns-parents-to-flee-california-as-mandate-to-affirm-kids-gender-advances\/\" title=\"State Senator urges parents to leave California as gender affirmation mandate progresses.\">post-pandemic learning loss<\/a><\/a> are now also facing the prospect of a family court awarding custody to a parent based on their affirmation of a child\u2019s gender identity and the other parent\u2019s refusal. The committee on Tuesday <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/california\/california-senate-ab-957\/\">passed<\/a> Assembly Bill 957, which would include &#8220;a parent\u2019s affirmation of gender identity&#8221; as a factor in the &#8220;health, safety, and welfare of the child&#8221; in divorce proceedings.<\/p>\n<p>Hundreds of parents appeared at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/we-would-love-to-see-any-evidence-of-fraud-nothing-they-are-saying-is-true-dominion-voting-systems-spokesman-refutes-fraud-claims-video\/\" title=\"\"We Would Love to See Any Evidence of Fraud - Nothing They Are Saying Is True\" - Dominion Voting Systems Spokesman Refutes Fraud Claims (VIDEO)\">committee hearing<\/a> to voice opposition to the bill.
