The incident occurred in Houston, where the car&#8217;s system designed to alert officers of an air conditioning failure failed to work as intended.<\/p>\n<p>The Houston Police Department shared the devastating news with the public, revealing that one of their service dogs had passed away after being left in a department cruiser.
