It was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/us-usa-court-gaymarriage-benefits\/gay-marriage-ruling-boosts-benefits-but-confusion-expected-idUKBRE95P1FX20130626\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">argued<\/a> same-sex couples just wanted to visit one another in the hospital, have access to the same inheritance laws, and get the same tax breaks as heterosexuals. We were told ad nauseam that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.firstthings.com\/web-exclusives\/2017\/09\/obergefell-and-the-right-to-other-peoples-children\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">marriage had nothing to do with children.<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Children Are the Victims of Gay Marriage<\/h2>\n<p>Eight years post-<em>Obergefell<\/em> and it is clear we were lied to. As we have seen in <a href=\"https:\/\/thembeforeus.com\/marriage-married-parenthood-global-survey-gay-marriage-weakens-childrens-rights\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">every country<\/a> that has redefined <em>marriage<\/em>, the redefinition of <em>parenthood<\/em> follows quickly on its heels. Court decisions mandating the <a href=\"https:\/\/thembeforeus.com\/equality-sex-couples-birth-certificates-inequality-kids\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">state-sanctioned falsification<\/a> that children have \u201ctwo moms\u201d at birth; deeming the term \u201cmother\u201d and \u201cfather\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/thembeforeus.com\/thanks-gay-marriage-recognizing-mothers-fathers-unconstitutional\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">unconstitutional<\/a>; Andrew Cuomo supporting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dfs.ny.gov\/reports_and_publications\/press_releases\/pr202102162#:~:text=Thanks%20to%20the%20Child%2DParent,through%20surrogacy%20here%20at%20home.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">commercial surrogacy<\/a> in the name of \u201cfairness and equality\u201d for \u201cLGBTQ+ New Yorkers\u201d \u2014 in all of this, it is clear that children are the permanent victims of gay marriage. <\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>Gay Marriage and Children\u2019s Rights<\/h3>\n<p>Gay marriage and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Them-Before-Us-Childrens-Movement\/dp\/B0BLQW8ZNK\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">children\u2019s right to their mother and father<\/a> cannot coexist.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>California\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/leginfo.legislature.ca.gov\/faces\/billTextClient.xhtml?bill_id=202320240SB729\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Senate Bill 729<\/a> offers one of the clearest connections between adult \u201cequality\u201d and child victimization. Take it from the child-violating bill\u2019s co-author <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/california-moves-to-provide-surrogates-to-gay-male-couples-in-the-name-of-fertility-equality\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sen. Caroline Menjivar<\/a> who notes that this legislation \u201cis critical to achieving full-lived equality for LGBTQ+ people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The bill has passed in the Senate and advanced to the Assembly. As of June 1, it\u2019s been\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/leginfo.legislature.ca.gov\/faces\/billStatusClient.xhtml?bill_id=202320240SB729\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">referred to the Committee on Health<\/a> and is awaiting a hearing date. But how does this bill provide full-lived \u201cequality\u201d for LGBT couples? <\/p>\n<p>First, SB 729 redefines infertility. For the purpose of insurance coverage, infertility is typically defined as 12 months of unprotected heterosexual sex without pregnancy or birth. But what about gay couples? Twelve months \u2014 or 12 years \u2014 of unprotected homosexual sex will never produce a baby. Thus, California\u2019s more \u201cequitable\u201d definition of infertility will include \u201ca person\u2019s inability to reproduce either as an individual or with their partner without medical intervention.\u201d <\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>The Consequences for Children<\/h3>\n<p>Never mind that every adult operating under this expanded infertility definition will be creating a child who is <a href=\"https:\/\/thembeforeus.com\/stories-donor-conceived-kids-w-gay-parents\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">intentionally motherless or fatherless<\/a> \u2014 a child who will experience the inevitable <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennessean.com\/story\/opinion\/2020\/01\/23\/children-deserve-adopted-into-home-mother-and-father\/4547829002\/?fbclid=IwAR23KxbqMFkyQ_FCRGRppqcAt1yPceBR-7P4on-3KGmgTj18lxsl8S2OY-4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">mother-hunge<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennessean.com\/story\/opinion\/2020\/01\/23\/children-deserve-adopted-into-home-mother-and-father\/4547829002\/?fbclid=IwAR23KxbqMFkyQ_FCRGRppqcAt1yPceBR-7P4on-3KGmgTj18lxsl8S2OY-4\">r<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/anonymousus.org\/how-can-i-find-my-dad\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">father-hunger<\/a> as they are deprived of their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Them-Before-Us-Childrens-Movement\/dp\/B0BLQW8ZNK\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">natural right<\/a> to both. True \u201cequality\u201d seems to<em> require<\/em> that children lose a parent (or two).\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Next, because same-sex couples cannot create children organically, synthetic babymaking is required. SB 729 will <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hawaii-lawmakers-advance-bill-to-force-insurance-companies-to-provide-transgender-medical-treatment\/\" title=\"Hawaii Lawmakers Advance Bill to Force Insurance Companies to Provide \u2018Transgender\u2019 Medical Treatment\">force insurance companies<\/a> to cover in-vitro fertilization (IVF) for the medically <em>and<\/em> relationally infertile. Never mind that children created in-vitro (in glass) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/she-was-a-child-white-house-calls-fatal-police-shooting-of-black-teen-in-ohio-tragic\/\" title=\"\u2018She Was A Child\u2019: White House Calls Fatal Police Shooting Of Black Teen In Ohio \u2018Tragic\u2019\">experience higher rates<\/a> of <a href=\"https:\/\/thembeforeus.com\/ivf-harms-to-children\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">physical and developmental<\/a> struggles. \u201cEquality\u201d demands that a child\u2019s conception be directed by a technician rather than in the loving embrace of his or her own mother and father.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Third, while two female bodies have double the eggs, and two male bodies have double the sperm, bigoted biology requires one sperm and one egg for every new life to begin. Therefore, SB 729 will require insurance companies to fund the participation of reproductive third parties \u2014 someone else\u2019s, sperm, egg, womb, and\/or <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2019\/12\/04\/why-embryo-adoption-damages-childrens-rights\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">embryo<\/a> \u2014 to make sure <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/opinion\/judiciary\/353252-supreme-court-must-take-on-heartbreaking-surrogacy-case\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">single men<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycitizen.focusonthefamily.com\/lesbian-couple-has-baby-boy-instead-of-desired-girl-and-sues-ivf-clinic-saying-it-was-just-like-rape\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">lesbians<\/a>, or <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2017\/01\/30\/the-childs-side-of-the-story-when-gay-couples-commission-babies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">gay couples<\/a> are not disadvantaged. <\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>The Impact on Children&#8217;s Identity<\/h3>\n<p>Never mind that this will subject children to the <a href=\"https:\/\/thembeforeus.com\/millie-fontana\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">identity struggles<\/a> often experienced by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wearedonorconceived.com\/personal-stories\/donors-identity-matters\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">children created<\/a> via sperm or egg donation. Never mind that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifesitenews.com\/opinion\/yes-surrogacy-is-wrong-even-when-straight-couples-do-it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">womb-rental infants<\/a> suffer intentional severing of the maternal bond \u2014 largely regarded as a foundation for life-long trust and attachment. (And no, surrogacy is <a href=\"https:\/\/thembeforeus.com\/third-party-reproduction-vs-adoption-theres-a-big-difference\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">not just like adoption<\/a>.) \u201cEquality\u201d must be achieved, even at the expense of denying children a relationship with a <a href=\"https:\/\/thembeforeus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/2.-Biology-Matters-Handout-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">biological parent<\/a> and\/or their birth mother.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Finally, biology puts no limit on a heterosexual couple\u2019s pregnancy attempts, while single and same-sex couples are limited by the high cost of IVF. That\u2019s why SB 729 will grant everyone unlimited embryo transfers. Once you\u2019ve <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=heI3cLCIlxE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">selected<\/a> your child\u2019s genetic parent from that sperm or egg catalog, created your dozens of embryos, discarded or donated the undesirables, <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycitizen.focusonthefamily.com\/our-babies-have-barcodes-the-moral-problems-with-ivf-and-surrogacy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sex-selected to your preference<\/a>, and frozen the majority for later \u2014 or possibly for never \u2014 then the sky\u2019s the limit! You can implant however many tiny humans you want in your womb, or that of a <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2019\/01\/21\/ben-shapiro-dead-wrong-endorse-surrogacy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">hired stranger<\/a>. <\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>The Disregard for Life and the Consequences<\/h3>\n<p>Never mind that only\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-2255107\/1-7-million-embryos-created-IVF-thrown-away-just-7-cent-lead-pregnancy.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">7 percent of lab-created<\/a> babies\u00a0will be born alive due to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/how-the-government-will-try-to-take-over-crypto\/\" title=\"How The Government Will Try To Take Over Crypto\">high-risk nature<\/a> of IVF pregnancies, eugenic\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thembeforeus.com\/test-and-discard-your-designer-baby-cheaper-and-faster\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">screenings<\/a>, and the\u00a0<s>abortion<\/s>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thembeforeus.com\/the-sacrificing-of-excess-children-to-fulfill-adult-desires\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">selective reduction<\/a>\u00a0to which they\u2019re subjected. We already have\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tandfonline.com\/doi\/full\/10.1080\/14636778.2018.1546574?journalCode=cngs20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">1 million babies<\/a>\u00a0on ice in this country, many of whom have been functionally abandoned \u2014 but at least the 93 percent of lab-created babies who die in California will do so at the hands of a truly diverse population.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>California\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/proposed-bill-would-give-n-y-gov-power-to-detain-citizens-deemed-a-public-health-hazard\/\" title=\"Proposed bill would give N.Y. Gov. power to detain citizens deemed a \u2018public health hazard\u2019\">proposed bill<\/a> is not unlike other recent attempts in <a href=\"https:\/\/thembeforeus.com\/win-for-childrens-rights-them-before-us-combated-bill-in-minnesota-subsidizing-donor-conception\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Minnesota<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/thembeforeus.com\/testifying-against-big-fertility-in-washington-state\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Washington<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/restoring-america\/community-family\/government-shouldnt-subsidize-intentional-motherlessness-and-fatherlessness\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">nationally<\/a> to treat children as items to be cut and pasted into any and every adult relationship. But this is the inevitable result of equating two things that can never be equal: opposite-sex and same-sex relationships. There is only one kind of marital relationship capable of producing children and thus only one coupling that deserves to be incentivized and institutionalized. <\/p>\n<p>In the marriage and family world, the pursuit of \u201cequality\u201d based on adult emotions and preferences will always result in true inequality for children. And unfortunately for America\u2019s children, our highest court insists that there is no distinction between these two types of parental pairings, even though one leads to wholeness for children, and the other to lifelong loss. <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-a91e93769087e05021b8dc8db6876dba fdrlst__b89e9-after-post-content\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-a91e93769087e05021b8dc8db6876dba\"><\/div>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\">    \t\t\t\t\t   \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Marriage, once child-friendly, has been redefined for equality.
