from Partnerships Amid Scandals<\/h2>\n<p>A number of LGBT influencers have gone on the record in recent weeks to complain they did not <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/boycotts-work-lgbt-influencers-whining-over-companies-suddenly-walking-away-from-partnerships-amid-scandals\/\" title=\"Boycotts effective: LGBT influencers upset as companies abruptly end partnerships amidst scandals.\">receive corporate partnership offers leading<\/a> up to and during \u201cpride\u201d month in numbers they are accustomed to, while others are turning on big business.<\/p>\n<p>This is more evidence, beyond sales and market <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/bud-light-parent-companys-top-competitor-sees-stock-price-hit-highest-mark-years-analysts-say-come\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cap hits<\/a>, that conservative boycotts of companies that go \u201cwoke\u201d are indeed working.<\/p>\n<p>Such <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/video-shows-bud-lights-painful-situation-inside-kentucky-gas-station-boycott-full-effect\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">boycotts<\/a> appear to be forcing companies to rethink their entire strategy in regard to pandering to the LGBT community.<\/p>\n<p>The result is LGBT activists who rely on big business to make money have been waiting for emails that do not appear to be coming to their inboxes.<\/p>\n<p>In recent years, American consumers have grown used to such campaigns and have mostly chosen to tolerate them.<\/p>\n<p>For some conservatives who are not interested in the sexual preferences or identities of strangers, July 1 cannot come soon enough on an annual basis.<\/p>\n<p>But this year, two months prior to the start of \u201cpride\u201d month, Anheuser-Busch crossed a line when it paid transgender social media activist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/dylan-mulvaney-disguise-trans-activist-nearly-unrecognizable-celebrity-concert\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dylan Mulvaney<\/a> to push its Bud Light brand.<\/p>\n<p>Bud Light printed Mulvaney\u2019s face on a can of beer, sparking an organic boycott that is now in its 10th week.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/woke-target-gets-even-bad-news-following-satanic-clothing-scandal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Target<\/a> also crossed a line with conservatives when it placed \u201cpride\u201d merchandise,\u201d some of it satanic, at the front of some stores.<\/p>\n<p>Both companies quickly learned that people who hold traditional values on marriage, gender, sexuality and protecting children do have a breaking point.<\/p>\n<p>Bud Light drinkers are not typically the kind of consumers to pay a company to affirm a man\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/gynecologist-insists-dylan-mulvaney-woman-spectacularly-blows-face\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">claims of womanhood<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In May, countless Target customers found themselves fed up with corporate activism crossing a boundary.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, it appears as though many companies have almost completely paused reaching out to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/churches-begin-hosting-drag-story-hour-disturbing-lgbt-events\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LGBT<\/a> influencers for paid partnerships.<\/p>\n<p>One transgender influencer named Rose Montoya told the U.K.\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/2023\/jun\/13\/lgbtq-influencers-pride-brands-boycotts-laws\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Guardian<\/a> he has only received a handful of deals.<br \/>\nHe also said he is not alone.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>\u201cI\u2019ve spoken to a lot of my trans friends and colleagues, and we\u2019ve all noticed [fewer] brands seeking partnerships and smaller budgets for Pride campaigns,\u201d Montoya told the outlet on Tuesday. \u201cIt\u2019s disappointing.\u201d<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>Added Montoya, \u201cI\u2019m disappointed to see brands caving to bullies.\u201d<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Montoya made the comments a day after he flashed his augmented breasts at a White House \u201cpride\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/transgender-wh-pride-event-shows-far-society-fallen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">celebration<\/a> hosted by President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/bidens-obsession-keeping-porn-schools-behind-new-appointment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Joe Biden<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/60-minutes-runs-explosive-segment-featuring-young-transgender-individuals-who-decided-to-reverse-course\/\" title=\"60 Minutes Runs Explosive Segment Featuring Young Transgender Individuals Who Decided To Reverse Course\">trans influencer<\/a> is now banned from the White House, <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/06\/13\/rose-montoya-now-barred-from-white-house\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The New York Post<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>Weeks before the ban, Montoya told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/transgender-influencer-partnerships-drop-after-dylan-mulvaney-controversy-1800737\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Newsweek<\/a> that his inbox was not filled with the usual endorsement offers.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>\u201cWhat\u2019s wild is usually all of April and May I\u2019m receiving dozens of emails from all sorts of brands large and small, networks, in-person speaking events, you name it,\u201d Montoya said. \u201cI haven\u2019t received a dozen yet.\u201d<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>While Montoya said he and other sex and gender activists are not getting cut checks like they are used to, there is also evidence that corporate America\u2019s embrace \u2014 until now \u2014 of the LGBT lobby has put it at odds with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/cracker-barrel-goes-woke-lgbt-celebration-hidden-among-rocking-chairs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">that community<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A drag queen who goes by the name Yvie Oddly complained to the Guardian that the money flows in smaller amounts from July to May.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>\u201cI\u2019m paid drastically differently in June, and I get more opportunities then,\u201d Oddly said. \u201cBrands know that I am more lucrative for their business during this month than any other time of year, which is why they\u2019ll take the slight risk of hiring a drag queen to talk about things for them.\u201d<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>Oddly added, \u201cIt\u2019s easy to say and do something when nobody is pushing back.\u201d<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Meanwhile, One LGBT influencer named Ian Michael Crumm told Guardian he now views <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/adidas-goes-woke-disgusting-way-look-modeled-womens-swimsuit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">big business<\/a> with suspicion.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>\u201cI love Pride merch, but there is a fine line,\u201d Crumm said. \u201cThere are times that you can just tell it feels like a money grab.\u201d<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Katherine Sender, a Cornell University communications professor who focuses on corporate gender and sexuality in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/zack-snyders-justice-league-is-well-worth-the-wait-and-the-four-hours-it-takes-to-watch-it\/\" title=\"Zack Snyder\u2019s Justice League\u00a0Is Well Worth The Wait \u2014 And The Four Hours It Takes To Watch It\">media campaigns<\/a>, explained in a recent interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2023\/05\/28\/1178644956\/companies-pull-back-from-pride-campaigns-after-backlash-and-threats-toward-emplo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NPR<\/a> that LGBT people sometimes view themselves as being used by corporations.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>\u201c[Companies] bop into the area of gay marketing in June, and we don\u2019t hear anything more about them for the rest of the year in that realm,\u201d Sender told NPR. \u201cThey\u2019re not really connected with the community \u2026 [T]hey don\u2019t have any queer or transgender or nonbinary people involved in the production of campaigns.\u201d<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Sender and the LGBT influencers each shared a perspective that brings into question why companies don\u2019t opt to stay out of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/matt-walsh-torches-trans-coach-accidentally-discovers-real-truth-manhood\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">divisive social issues<\/a> altogether.<\/p>\n<p>As the country has seen with Bud Light, there is not much to be gained by entering the culture war.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, such companies have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/video-shows-bud-lights-painful-situation-inside-kentucky-gas-station-boycott-full-effect\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">everything to
