This memo specifically singled out a Loudoun County father who was arrested for disorderly conduct. Shockingly, it was later revealed that the father&#8217;s anger stemmed from the superintendent&#8217;s deception regarding his daughter&#8217;s rape.<\/p>\n<p>Virginia&#8217;s Republican attorney general, Jason Miyares, established a special grand jury to investigate the cover-up of the rape incident. Despite efforts by the Democrat-run school system to shut down the grand jury, it ultimately indicted the school system&#8217;s superintendent and spokesman.<\/p>\n<p>In January, AFL filed a Freedom of Information Act request for emails from Garland and other senior DOJ officials that pertained to Loudoun County Public Schools, the rape victim&#8217;s family, the sexual assault, or the grand jury. However, the DOJ informed AFL that it would take several months to search for and review the requested records.<\/p>\n<p>This week, AFL took legal action to compel the DOJ to provide the records in a timely manner. AFL&#8217;s General Counsel and Vice President, Gene Hamilton, emphasized that the DOJ unfairly targeted parents who were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/watchdog-sues-doj-for-records-on-merrick-garlands-role-in-loudoun-county-rape-scandal\/\" title=\"Watchdog sues DOJ for Merrick Garland's involvement in Loudoun County rape scandal records.\">simply expressing concerns<\/a> about their children&#8217;s education.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The American people have every right to see any of DOJ&#8217;s communications with or about Loudoun, and we will not cease in our fight to obtain and share the records with the American people,&#8221; Hamilton stated.<\/p>\n<p>AFL senior advisor and Loudoun resident, Ian Prior, alleged that Garland, the NSBA, and the White House devised a plan to investigate parents speaking at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/maryland-school-district-announces-policy-to-push-anti-racist-thinking-in-preschool-redefine-discrimination-and-racism\/\" title=\"Maryland School District Announces Policy to Push \u2018Anti-Racist Thinking\u2019 In Preschool, Redefine \u2018Discrimination\u2019 and \u2018Racism\u2019\">school board meetings<\/a> as a means to support Democrat Terry McAuliffe&#8217;s Virginia gubernatorial campaign.
