Chuck Grassley dropped a bombshell during an explosive U.S. Senate floor speech on Monday. According to Grassley, the Burisma executive behind an alleged Biden pay-to<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/8-joe-biden-scandals-inside-hunter-bidens-macbook-that-corporate-media-just-admitted-is-legit\/\" title=\"8 Joe Biden Scandals Inside Hunter Biden\u2019s MacBook That Corporate Media Just Admitted Is Legit\">-play scandal<\/a> kept 15 audio recordings of conversations between him and Hunter Biden, as well as two recordings of conversations between him and then-Vice President Joe Biden, as an &#8220;insurance policy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Grassley revealed that the revelations are a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/bill-maher-compares-woke-left-to-chinas-red-guard\/\" title=\"Bill Maher Compares Woke Left to China\u2019s Red Guard\">redacted reference<\/a> in the FD-1023 form, which the FBI attempted to hide from the House Oversight Committee. The form summarizes a &#8220;highly credible&#8221; confidential human source&#8217;s allegations that then-VP Joe Biden engaged in a $5 million criminal bribery scheme with a foreign national in exchange for influence over U.S. policy decisions.<\/p>\n<figure>\n<p>\n            <span><\/p>\n<blockquote data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\ud83d\udea8BREAKING: Senator Chuck Grassley says that the FD-1023 form says the foreign national who bribed Joe and Hunter Biden allegedly has 17 audio recordings of his conversations with them that were kept as an \u201cinsurance policy\u201d. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/0fkKJP6CuI\">pic.twitter.com\/0fkKJP6CuI<\/a><\/p>\n<footer>\u2014 Benny Johnson (@bennyjohnson) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/bennyjohnson\/status\/1668374854280552449?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 12, 2023<\/a><\/footer>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>            <\/span>\n        <\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Grassley also stated that the form suggests Joe might have been the reason Hunter scored a spot on the board of Burisma, the Ukrainian energy company that paid the Biden son inordinate amounts of money despite his lack of relevant expertise. &#8220;The 1023 also indicates that then-Vice President Joe Biden may have been involved in Burisma employing Hunter Biden,&#8221; Grassley stated.<\/p>\n<p>Grassley criticized the DOJ and FBI for not having the same &#8220;laser focus&#8221; on the Biden family as they did on former President Trump. Grassley demanded to know what the Justice Department and FBI have &#8220;done to investigate&#8221; the alleged bribery scandal. &#8220;The Justice Department and FBI must show their work,&#8221; wrote Grassley. &#8220;They no longer deserve the benefit of the doubt.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3>Two Standards of Justice<\/h3>\n<p>Indeed, as Grassley suggests, the DOJ doesn&#8217;t appear interested in upholding &#8220;equal justice under the law.&#8221; News of Biden&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/grassley-burisma-exec-behind-biden-bribery-scandal-allegedly-kept-17-recordings-of-talks-with-joe-hunter\/\" title=\"Grassley claims Burisma exec had 17 recordings of talks with Joe and Hunter related to bribery scandal.\">alleged multimillion-dollar bribery scheme broke<\/a> last week \u2014 at the same time that the DOJ announced former President Donald Trump would be facing a total of 37 counts in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/democrat-ny-lawmaker-cuomo-should-still-be-impeached\/\" title=\"Democrat NY Lawmaker: Cuomo Should Still Be Impeached\">criminal indictment<\/a> for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-launches-2024-presidential-bid\/\" title=\"Trump Launches 2024 Presidential Bid\">allegedly mishandling classified documents<\/a>. Notably, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Mike Pence, and Barack Obama all had &#8220;documents disputes&#8221; and did not face the wrath of the deep state.<\/p>\n<p><strong>[READ: <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/06\/10\/on-trump-and-everything-else-the-regime-has-gaslighted-america-into-oblivion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">On Trump And Everything Else, The Regime Has Gaslighted America Into Oblivion<\/a>]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Based on the facts known to Congress and the public, it&#8217;s clear that the Justice Department and FBI will use every resource to investigate candidate Trump, President Trump, and former President Trump,&#8221; Grassley wrote in a press release following his Senate floor speech. &#8220;Two standards of justice in this country will turn our constitutional Republic upside down,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;Thanks to the political infection within the Biden Justice Department and FBI, we&#8217;re well along the road for that to happen.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3>FBI Stonewalling<\/h3>\n<p>Grassley stated in his press release that FBI Director Christopher Wray, who was nearly held in contempt of Congress for stonewalling lawmakers&#8217; investigation of the Biden family business, littered the unclassified FD-1023 form with redactions. &#8220;More than that, the FBI made Congress review a redacted unclassified document in a classified facility,&#8221; he added. &#8220;That goes to show you the disrespect the FBI has for Congress.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Getting a full and complete 1023 is critical for the American people to know and understand the true nature of the document and to hold the Justice Department and FBI accountable,&#8221; he concluded. &#8220;Congress owes it to the American people and the brave and heroic whistleblowers to continue to fight for transparency in this matter and make this document public without unnecessary redactions.&#8221;<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>Evita Duffy-Alfonso is a staff writer to The Federalist and the co-founder of the Chicago Thinker.
