Adam Schiff for Alleged Collusion Claims<\/h2>\n<p>The House is expected to consider a measure this week that aims to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/n-c-gop-chair-denies-canceling-sen-burr-over-impeachment-vote\/\" title=\"N.C. GOP chair denies canceling Sen. Burr over impeachment vote\">formally rebuke<\/a> and impose a hefty fine against Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) for playing up allegations of collusion between Russia and former President Donald Trump. <\/p>\n<p>Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), a Trump ally, announced on Tuesday that she expects her privileged resolution, meant to be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/leo-dicaprio-mark-ruffalo-cher-call-on-joe-biden-to-kill-dakota-access-pipeline\/\" title=\"Leo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, Cher Call On Joe Biden To Kill Dakota Access Pipeline\">fast-tracked<\/a> for consideration, will likely get a vote Thursday morning.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">.<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepLuna?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@RepLuna<\/a> introduces resolution &#8220;censuring and condemning Adam Schiff, Representative of California\u2026&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/0miNRsYw8h\">pic.twitter.com\/0miNRsYw8h<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 CSPAN (@cspan) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/cspan\/status\/1668682575043342338?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 13, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The measure seeks to have the House formally censure and condemn Schiff \u201cfor his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/apple-touts-its-respect-for-human-rights-commitment-to-treating-everyone-with-dignity-and-respect-heres-the-truth\/\" title=\"Apple Touts Its \u2018Respect For Human Rights,\u2019 \u2018Commitment To Treating Everyone With Dignity And Respect.\u2019 Here\u2019s The Truth.\">egregious abuse<\/a> of the trust of the American people,\u201d according to Luna\u2019s office. Schiff should also be fined $16 million, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fed-found-economy-is-recovering-much-faster-than-officials-expected\/\" title=\"Fed Found Economy Is Recovering Much Faster Than Officials Expected\">roughly half<\/a> the cost of special counsel Robert Mueller\u2019s investigation into Russian election interference, pending an investigation by the House Ethics Committee if it finds he lied and abused sensitive information, Luna said.<\/p>\n<p>Mueller\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/adam-schiff-faces-house-censure-vote-and-prospect-of-steep-fine\/\" title=\"Schiff may be censured and fined by House.\">inquiry explored alleged links<\/a> between the Russian government and Trump\u2019s 2016 campaign, but ultimately did not find a criminal conspiracy. Luna\u2019s resolution mostly accuses Schiff of telling falsehoods about the Russia matter, but does also mention issues related to the Ukraine-focused impeachment inquiry against Trump.<\/p>\n<h3>Republicans Accuse Schiff of Repeatedly Lying<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cIt is the obligation of House Leadership to back up this motion for the American people and hold this feckless man accountable,\u201d Luna said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>Republicans have long accused Schiff, who served as chairman of the committee for four years, of being a repeat liar, particularly because he insisted there was evidence of collusion. GOP frustration with Schiff led House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) to kick him off the intelligence panel earlier in January after Republicans took over control of the House. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), issued a defiant tweet from his campaign account, making reference to Trump\u2019s indictment in a federal documents case.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRep. The vote will be in the next 48 hours to distract from Trump\u2019s indictment and retaliate against me for impeaching him. But I\u2019m not backing down,\u201d Schiff said.
