MAJOR. Heart palpitating, butterflies in my tummy, crushing!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gilbert went on to explain that it wasn\u2019t until much later \u2014 when she was filming a movie in Toronto \u2014 that she really had any interaction with the \u201cRun Hide Fight\u201d actor.<\/p>\n<p><b>Here&#8217;s the heartwarming part:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy best friend @sandypeckinpah\u2019s first born son, Garrett died suddenly at the age of sixteen,\u201d she continued, noting that the only way for her to make it to the funeral \u2014 in time to give the eulogy she\u2019d been asked to deliver \u2014 would be to leave the set immediately when filming wrapped up and get on a plane.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut there were no flights at that hour that could get me home on time,\u201d Gilbert said. \u201cI was desperate and borderline hysterical. I called my managers at the time and asked them to please find someone with a plane. Anyone with a plane. It turned out that Treat owned a charter company. I was prepared to blow my whole paycheck to charter one of his planes but Treat, upon hearing why I needed the plane, sent it to me, basically gratis. I paid the pilots\u2019 salary. That\u2019s all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But as Gilbert went on to explain, Williams\u2019 generosity had not stopped there. When she boarded, she realized that he had stocked the plane with any food she might need and even provided a desk for her to write the eulogy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019d even sent a note offering his condolences,\u201d she said, adding, \u201cAll of this, and here\u2019s the amazing part, we had never met.
