Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.)<\/footer>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>On Monday, Rep. Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.) introduced articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. The articles allege that Biden has \u201cweaponized\u201d his presidency and vice presidency to \u201cshield the business and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/new-gop-committee-chairman-to-treasury-hand-over-info-on-biden-family-business-deals\/\" title=\"New GOP Committee Chairman To Treasury: Hand Over Info On Biden Family Business Deals\">influence peddling schemes<\/a> of his family from congressional oversight and public accountability.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>First Article of Impeachment<\/h3>\n<p>The first article of impeachment accuses Biden of failing to comply with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/gop-lawmakers-concerned-biden-admin-delaying-iranian-agent-trial-to-appease-iran\/\" title=\"GOP Lawmakers Concerned Biden Admin Delaying Iranian Agent Trial To Appease Iran\">multiple information requests<\/a>, involvement in the establishment of companies for financial schemes, and interference in Ukrainian affairs. In particular, the first article accuses Biden of obscuring oversight despite promising transparency. It states as examples that Biden allegedly failed to supply requested information to Members of Congress about various matters, such as requesting Suspicious Activity Reports related to the Biden family, information about Hunter Biden\u2019s connections to the Chinese Communist Party, and inquiries about the Biden family\u2019s use of Air Force Two for business transactions with Chinese nationals.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5260966\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/img.theepochtimes.com\/assets\/uploads\/2023\/05\/12\/id5260966-GettyImages-1251382645-1200x800.jpg\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/img.theepochtimes.com\/assets\/uploads\/2023\/05\/12\/id5260966-GettyImages-1251382645-1200x800.jpg\" alt=\"Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden attend the annual Easter Egg Roll on the South Lawn of the White House in Washington on April 10, 2023. Biden is also accused of withholding \u201ca critical FD\u20131023 form until threatened with a congressional subpoena.\u201d The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/gop-rep-ogles-introduces-articles-of-impeachment-against-biden-and-harris\/\" title=\"GOP Rep. Ogles introduces impeachment articles against Biden and Harris.\">form \u201creportedly details<\/a> a bribery scheme\u201d in which Biden and members of his family allegedly \u201creceived $5,000,000 each to assist Burisma Holdings,\u201d a Ukrainian company on whose board Hunter Biden served.<\/p>\n<h3>Second Article of Impeachment<\/h3>\n<p>The second article alleges that Biden directly facilitated the ongoing crisis at the southern border, endangering the American people. It highlights the significant increase in drug seizures, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/democrats-recruiting-gop-senators-for-amnesty-deal\/\" title=\"Democrats Recruiting GOP Senators for Amnesty Deal\">illegal border crossings<\/a>, and the administration\u2019s purported failure to utilize powers provided by Congress to address the situation effectively.<\/p>\n<p>Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) also introduced articles of impeachment against Biden on Tuesday. The basis for her articles also claims that Biden has mishandled his \u201cconstitutional duty to secure our southern border.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Articles Allege Violation of Public Trust<\/h2>\n<p>Ogles\u2019 resolution alleges the president has, with respect to all the allegations, acted in a \u201cmanner contrary to the public trust and subversive of constitutional government, to the great prejudice of the cause of law and justice and to the manifest injury of the people of the United States.\u201d The resolution calls for his impeachment, trial, removal from office, and disqualification from holding any future office of honor, trust, or profit under the United States.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJoe Biden hasn\u2019t just failed the American people with his abysmal excuse for \u2018leadership\u2019\u2014he\u2019s violated his sworn oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States,\u201d Ogles told Fox News.<\/p>\n<p>Ogles further accused Biden of repeatedly misusing his position of power, both as vice president and president, to conceal his family&#8217;s corrupt activities. It remains to be seen whether these articles of impeachment will gain traction in Congress, but they represent a significant challenge to the Biden administration&#8217;s legitimacy and could have far-reaching consequences for the future of American politics.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rep.
