The letter compared parents protesting at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/maryland-school-district-announces-policy-to-push-anti-racist-thinking-in-preschool-redefine-discrimination-and-racism\/\" title=\"Maryland School District Announces Policy to Push \u2018Anti-Racist Thinking\u2019 In Preschool, Redefine \u2018Discrimination\u2019 and \u2018Racism\u2019\">school board meetings<\/a> to domestic terrorists and asked the Department of Justice to investigate.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;The Committee has reason to believe that communications between the EOP and the relevant Executive Branch agencies exist and that these records are instrumental in fully understanding the Executive Branch&#8217;s actions in this matter,&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Rep. Jordan has given the White House until June 20 to provide the requested documents and an opportunity to interview Mary Wall, a senior adviser to the president who was aware of the letter before it was sent. If the deadline is not met, the committee will consider issuing a subpoena.<\/p>\n<h3>ESG Emerges as Sleeper Issue in the 2024 Presidential Campaign<\/h3>\n<p>The Judiciary Committee had previously subpoenaed the Department of Justice, the FBI, and the Department of Education for records and communications related to the NSBA letter.
