Threatens FBI Director with Jail Time Over Alleged Biden Bribery Scheme<\/h2>\n<p>Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) has issued a warning to FBI Director Christopher Wray, stating that he could face jail time if he refuses to turn over a highly sought-after document alleging a $5 million foreign <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/whistleblower-alleges-fbi-has-evidence-of-biden-engaging-in-bribery-scheme-with-foreign-national\/\" title=\"FBI has evidence of Biden's bribery scheme with foreign national, says whistleblower.\">criminal bribery scheme<\/a> involving President Joe Biden.<\/p>\n<p>Luna made the statement during an appearance on \u201cThe Benny Show\u201d less than 24 hours after firing off a tweet alleging that the FBI fears its informant, who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/larry-johnson-the-cia-has-become-the-kgb\/\" title=\"Larry Johnson: The CIA Has Become the KGB\">brought forward<\/a> pertinent information accusing Biden of criminal dealings, would be killed if unmasked.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Just left meeting for House Oversight. Anna Paulina Luna (@RepLuna) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepLuna\/status\/1665830527117434881?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 5, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re gonna be holding them accountable, and this is potentially going to be a criminal charge if this guy doesn\u2019t pony up,\u201d Luna told show host Benny Johnson on Tuesday. \u201cIt\u2019s very possible that the director of the FBI could end up in jail.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>The Informant<\/h3>\n<p>The person who alerted U.S. lawmakers last month about the existence of an FBI record that allegedly shows that then-Vice President Biden was involved in a criminal bribery scheme is a respected FBI source that the agency has used for years.<\/p>\n<p>According to Fox News, Bureau officials reportedly found the unnamed person as a \u201chighly credible\u201d confidential human source in several <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/highly-credible-source-reveals-scandal-bigger-than-biden-bribery-fbi-election-interference\/\" title=\"FBI Election Interference: Scandal Bigger Than Biden Bribery, Says 'Highly Credible' Source.\">investigations dating back<\/a> to the Obama administration.<\/p>\n<p>The whistleblower approached House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) and Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) earlier this week, alleging that the FBI was in possession of the FD-1023 form, dated June 30, 2020, that detailed information accusing Biden of dealing with a foreign national in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/rep-luna-signals-fbi-director-wray-could-face-prison-over-document-alleging-bidens-involvement-in-bribery-scheme\/\" title=\"Rep. Luna hints FBI Director Wray may go to jail for document implicating Biden in bribery.\">multi-million dollar criminal bribery scheme<\/a> in exchange for influence in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/senate-overwhelmingly-votes-to-keep-u-s-embassy-in-jerusalem\/\" title=\"Senate Overwhelmingly Votes to Keep U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem\">foreign policy decisions<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Transparency and Contempt of Congress<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cWe know the FBI has very serious allegations against then-Vice President Biden,\u201d a spokesman for Grassley told Fox News Digital. \u201cThe question is, what did they do with it?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Comer said earlier this week that Wray confirmed that the file containing the allegations does exist.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday, FBI Director Wray confirmed the existence of the FD-1023 form alleging then-Vice President Biden engaged in a criminal bribery scheme with a foreign national,\u201d Comer said. \u201cHowever, Director Wray did not commit to producing the documents subpoenaed by the House Oversight Committee.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Luna signaled to Fox News the committee would begin the process to hold Wray in contempt of Congress on Thursday for \u201cstill conniving to shelter the Biden administration from its own sickening corruption.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If the FBI fails to hand over the FD-1023 form as required by the subpoena, the House Oversight Committee will begin contempt of Congress proceedings.<\/p>\n<h3>FBI Response<\/h3>\n<p>When asked by The Daily Wire if the FBI had any comment regarding Luna\u2019s remarks about the bureau\u2019s informant, a spokesperson said the bureau doesn\u2019t have any comment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe FBI has continually demonstrated its commitment to accommodate the committee\u2019s request, including by producing the document in a reading room at the U.S. Capitol,\u201d the bureau said. \u201cThis commonsense safeguard is often employed in response to congressional requests and in court proceedings to protect important concerns, such as the physical safety of sources and the integrity of investigations.
