In 2022, he predicted that the upstart league LIV Golf would merge with its rival the PGA, and on Tuesday, that prediction came to fruition.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Unbelievable. @realDonaldTrump predicted the LIV-PGA merger last year:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;All of those golfers that remain \u2018loyal\u2019 to the very disloyal PGA, in all of its different forms, will pay a big price when the inevitable MERGER with LIV comes, and you get nothing but a big \u2018thank you\u2019\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/lMzMV6ZlGl\">pic.twitter.com\/lMzMV6ZlGl<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Tim Meads (@TimMeadsUSA) June 6, 2023<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Despite being mocked by the media and industry &#8220;experts,&#8221; Trump&#8217;s prediction has come true. The PGA Tour and LIV Golf, along with DP World Tour, have now combined into one for-profit company.<\/p>\n<h3>The Challenge to the PGA&#8217;s Dominance<\/h3>\n<p>The PGA Tour&#8217;s decades of dominance were first challenged in June 2021 after retired golfer Greg Norman hosted LIV&#8217;s first tournament with funding from the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund (PIF). The PGA Tour initially dismissed LIV out of hand, not allowing any golfer who participated in LIV to continue in the PGA Tour. But after LIV picked off some of the biggest stars in golf to join their league, a flurry of lawsuits from both sides began.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Players who joined the league were accused of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/unbelievable-trump-predicted-the-liv-pga-merger-last-year\/\" title=\"Trump foresaw LIV-PGA merger in advance.\">taking blood money due<\/a> to Saudi Arabia&#8217;s alleged violation of human rights.<\/li>\n<li>LIV was accused of ruining the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/watch-javier-baez-tricks-pittsburgh-pirates-into-incredibly-dumb-play\/\" title=\"WATCH: Javier B\u00e1ez Tricks Pittsburgh Pirates Into Incredibly Dumb Play\">game due<\/a> to its raucous fan-experience atmosphere.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Now, with the merger, all lawsuits have been dropped, and the only remaining threat is a DOJ antitrust investigation into the PGA, which will be complicated by the merger. The PGA Tour commissioner said the deal will <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/pga-tour-agrees-to-merger-with-saudi-backed-liv-golf\/\" title=\"PGA Tour merges with Saudi-supported LIV Golf.\">push golf<\/a> into the future and give fans the best experience.<\/p>\n<h3>Trump&#8217;s Prescience<\/h3>\n<p>Trump&#8217;s prediction of the merger was met with ridicule when he first made it in 2022.
