(Credit: Portland Police Bureau)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Portland, Oregon has been rocked by the discovery of six women&#8217;s bodies in secluded areas within the last three months. The victims were found on the sides of roads, in the woods, or in rural areas, and five different law enforcement agencies are involved in the investigation. While authorities have yet to find evidence that the cases are connected, at least three agencies are working to determine if there is a single perpetrator.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cThese discussions have led to some anxiety and fear in our community, and we want to provide reassurance that the speculation is not supported by the facts available at this point,\u201d the department said in the statement.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The victims include 22-year-old Ashley Real, who was found dead in a wooded area near Eagle Creek on May 7<sup>th<\/sup> after being last seen at a transit center in late March. Joanna Speaks, whose body was found in a rural area of Clark County on April 8<sup>th<\/sup>, is the only victim whose cause of death has been revealed by authorities. She died of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/cnn-even-admits-theres-still-no-evidence-capitol-officer-sicknick-was-killed-by-blunt-force-to-the-head-on-january-6th\/\" title=\"CNN Even Admits There\u2019s Still No Evidence Capitol Officer Sicknick Was Killed by Blunt Force to the Head on January 6th\">blunt force trauma<\/a> to the head and neck, and her death was ruled a homicide.<\/p>\n<p>Charity Lynn Perry, 24, and an unidentified woman were found dead on April 24<sup>th<\/sup>. The unknown woman was found inside of a tent in Portland and is believed to be Indigenous, and there were no signs of foul play, according to police. Kristin Smith, 22, was found dead near Southeast Deardorff Road in Portland on February 19<sup>th<\/sup>. She had been missing since December 2022. Bridget Webster, 31, was found near a rural road in Polk County on April 30<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Robyn Speaks, Joanna&#8217;s sister, expressed concern about the number of women being found dead. &#8220;I don\u2019t want to ever scare people, but reality is there are women dying at awful numbers,&#8221; she said. &#8220;With each one, we as a family, we\u2019ve talked about it, shared it, looked at the details. We\u2019ve talked to the detectives to see if there are any similarities.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Former FBI special agent Bryanna Fox said that investigators will be looking at the manner of death and the weapon used to determine if there is a connection between the cases.
