Here&#8217;s an update on which states you can expect to receive payments from in June 2023:<\/p>\n<h3>California<\/h3>\n<p>Los Angeles County has announced its guaranteed income program, called Breathe. If you meet several income and age requirements, you could be eligible for monthly payments of $1,000 for two years. To qualify, you must have been in foster care up until age 18 or later and be at least 21 years old but below the age of 24 as of Sept. 1, 2023. Income requirements must be equal to or less than 100% of the median in the area. Applications can be submitted electronically starting June 20 through July 3, and 200 people will be selected.<\/p>\n<h3>Massachusetts<\/h3>\n<p>If you filed your 2021 returns by Oct. 17, 2022, you are eligible for a refund equal to approximately 14% of your 2021 state income tax liability and should have received these payments by December. However, if you still haven&#8217;t filed your tax return, you can do so by Sept. 15, 2023, and be eligible to receive benefits from Chapter 62F, the law that forces Massachusetts to return leftover revenue to taxpayers. If you filed in May, the payment should be issued in June.<\/p>\n<h3>New Jersey<\/h3>\n<p>Governor Phil Murphy (D-NJ) enacted the Affordable New Jersey Communities for Homeowners and Renters, or ANCHOR, program in June 2022, a property tax relief initiative. If you applied by Feb. 28, roughly 2 million New Jersey households qualified for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/tax-rebates-2023-eligible-residents-to-receive-up-to-3000-over-the-summer\/\" title=\"Tax rebates 2023: Eligible residents to receive up to ,000 over the summer\">property tax rebates<\/a> of up to $1,500. Residents who have been receiving direct deposits or checks should expect more this month.<\/p>\n<h3>Georgia<\/h3>\n<p>The Georgia Department of Revenue has been sending out <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/stimulus-check-update-direct-payments-to-be-sent-out-in-several-states\/\" title=\"Direct payments to be sent out in multiple states as stimulus check update.\">special 2023 surplus tax refunds<\/a> to eligible residents. If you filed a tax return in 2021 and 2022, you could receive a payment that could take up to eight weeks, according to the department. With nearly $1 billion in surplus tax funds, the government is issuing rebates of $250 for individuals and $500 for couples.<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t miss out on these opportunities for relief.
