The incident has resulted in her being accused of aggravated child neglect and arson, according to a recent arrest report.<\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1\" style=\"min-width: 320px; min-height: 50px; text-align: center;\">\n        <script>\n          googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1'); });\n        <\/script>\n      <\/div>\n<div class=\"ad-slot__ad-label\">Advertisement<\/div>\n<p>According to the report submitted by the Oviedo Police Department, Alicia Moore, 24, had her vehicle parked in a lot outside of a Dillard\u2019s department store at the Oviedo Mall on May 26<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Moore had left her children in the car, according to the complaint. The names of the children and their ages have been redacted in the paperwork.<\/p>\n<p>According to allegations made by mall employees, Moore and an unidentified man were caught shoplifting at Dillard\u2019s by mall security. After approximately an hour, Moore started to leave Dillard\u2019s, and as she was walking out, she saw her car engulfed in flames.<\/p>\n<p>Thankfully, onlookers at the mall noticed the car fire and were able to save the children inside who were trying to flee from the flames. The kids were swiftly taken to the Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.<\/p>\n<p>One child had first-degree burns \u201cto her face and ears,\u201d according to the arrest report.<\/p>\n<p>Moore has now been charged with aggravated child neglect for leaving her children alone inside the automobile, the report said. Police claimed that they were still not sure how the fire started, but added that if Moore \u201cwas not being neglectful,\u201d it\u2019s highly doubtful the kids would have been hurt. The arrest report also additionally noted that Moore was charged with arson, since the fire started while she was allegedly committing a crime.<\/p>\n<p>Moore is now being represented by the public defender\u2019s office, according to court documents.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/florida-mother-charged-with-child-neglect-after-car-catches-fire-as-she-was-allegedly-shoplifting\/\" title=\"Mom in Florida charged with child neglect as car caught fire while she was shoplifting.\">comment-request email<\/a> was sent to the office, however, it was not promptly answered.<\/p>\n<p>Moore had a $40,000 bail set.
