GOP Representative Ronny Jackson Says No<\/h2>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">(Photo by Chip Somodevilla\/Getty Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>OAN\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oann.com\/tag\/brooke-mallory\">Brooke Mallory<\/a><br \/>12:50 PM \u2013 Sunday, June 4, 2023<\/p>\n<p>President Joe Biden fell on stage on Thursday during a commencement ceremony at the U.S. Air Force Academy, which prompted Texas GOP Representative Ronny Jackson, a former White House physician to Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump, to declare that Biden is \u201cnot fit mentally or physically\u201d and should not seek re-election.<\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1\" style=\"min-width: 320px; min-height: 50px;  text-align: center;\">\n  <script> googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1'); }); <\/script>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ad-slot__ad-label\">Advertisement<\/div>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t wanna sound like a broken record, but I\u2019m just going to say it again: This man\u2019s not fit mentally or physically to be our president, and it\u2019s a bad situation for us,\u201d Jackson said during a Friday appearance on Fox News\u2019 \u201cHannity\u201d show.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cPart of the job of the President of the United States is to inspire confidence and project power, and he\u2019s not doing that. He can\u2019t do that, he\u2019s too old to do that, and I think it\u2019s a shame.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to Jackson, Biden is presenting a \u201cpackage that doesn\u2019t sell around the world,\u201d as evidenced by his consistent gaffes and most recent fall.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cI think his lack of physical ability and his physical decline is now starting to highlight the cognitive decline that we\u2019ve been watching for so long now,\u201d Jackson said. \u201cIt\u2019s a package that just doesn\u2019t sell around the world, and it\u2019s becoming a national security issue for us. We have to do something about.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cTo think that this man thinks he can be president at the age of 86 when he\u2019s 80 right now [and] could be in office for another six years is just malpractice on part of the White House in the West Wing to allow this to be happening, for him to even be talking about running for another term\u2026 Somebody needs to be held accountable. The most recent letter was sent just after Biden declared his intention to run for office again next year.<\/p>\n<p>Jackson\u2019s letter that was addressed to Biden said, \u201cWe call on you to either resign immediately and renounce your bid for reelection or submit to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/house-republicans-demand-biden-take-mental-competency-test\/\" title=\"House Republicans demand Biden take mental competency test\">clinically validated cognitive screening assessment<\/a> and make those results available to the public.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The letter also mentioned how the president\u2019s mental capacity was being questioned by many Americans, as well as his age, public gaffes, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/obamas-former-physician-scolds-malpractice-of-wh-for-allowing-bidens-re-election-responding-to-recent-fall\/\" title=\"Ex-White House doctor criticizes WH for allowing Biden's re-election after fall.\">presidential poll results<\/a> regarding the public\u2019s trust in him.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cWhen you first announced your bid to run in the 2020 presidential election, questions and concerns were raised surrounding your cognitive abilities. Those concerns have only increased because your mental decline and forgetfulness have become more apparent since you were elected,\u201d Jackson continued in the letter.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>However, concerns regarding Biden\u2019s mental acuity have often been dismissed by the Biden Administration and the White House.<\/p>\n<p>Attacks on his suitability for office have historically failed, claimed White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, who made a speech earlier this year after Republican presidential contender Nikki Haley suggested requiring officials over 75-years-old to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/were-just-getting-started-janice-dean-blows-up-don-lemon-over-sexist-dig-at-nikki-haley\/\" title=\"\u2018We\u2019re Just Getting Started!\u2019: Janice Dean Blows Up Don Lemon Over Sexist Dig At Nikki Haley\">undergo mental competency tests<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cYou know, we\u2019ve heard these types of attacks or remarks before. And, you know, if you go back to 2020, they said that the president couldn\u2019t do it in 2020 and attacked him there, and he beat them\u2026 Maybe they\u2019re forgetting the wins that this president has had over the last couple of years.
