(Photo by Joe Raedle\/Getty Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>OAN\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oann.com\/tag\/sophia-flores\">Sophia Flores<\/a><br \/>7:10 PM \u2013 Friday, June 2, 2023<\/p>\n<p>The Republican National Committee has announced its criteria required for candidates to qualify for the first <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/how-democrats-and-joe-biden-caused-the-border-crisis\/\" title=\"How Democrats And Joe Biden Caused The Border Crisis\">presidential primary debate<\/a> in August.<\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1\" style=\"min-width: 320px; min-height: 50px; text-align: center;\">\n  <script>\n    googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1'); });\n  <\/script>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ad-slot__ad-label\">Advertisement<\/div>\n<p>The first debate will take place on August 23<sup>rd<\/sup> in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. If enough candidates qualify for the debate, a second one will be held on August 24<sup>th<\/sup> at the Ronald Regan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California.<\/p>\n<h3>Qualification Criteria<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates must be polling at a minimum of 1% in at least three national polls, or at 1% in two national polls and in one early state poll from two of the following states: New Hampshire, South Carolina, Iowa, and Nevada.<\/li>\n<li>The only polls that the RNC will recognize require at least 800 registered Republican voters and must be conducted on or after July 1<sup>st<\/sup>.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates must fulfill the fundraising minimum requirement of 40,000 unique donors and at least 200 unique donors from a minimum of 20 territories and states.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All GOP candidates must pledge not to join any debates that are not endorsed by the RNC and they must pledge to support whoever becomes the Republican presidential nominee.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cThe RNC is committed to putting on a fair, neutral, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/rnc-releases-2024-debate-criteria-as-questions-about-trumps-attendance-loom\/\" title=\"RNC sets 2024 debate rules amid Trump attendance doubts.\">transparent primary process<\/a> and the qualifying criteria set forth will put our party and eventual nominee in the best position to take back the White House come November 2024,\u201d McDaniel said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>As of June 1<sup>st<\/sup>, there are a handful of candidates who have declared their run. In a recent national poll by Interactive Polls, 45<sup>th<\/sup> President Donald J.
