We&#8217;re gonna make sure to do it right.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>At a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/investigators-attacker-did-not-know-who-zeldin-was\/\" title=\"Investigators: Attacker \u2018Did Not Know Who\u2019 Zeldin Was\">recent campaign rally<\/a> in South Carolina, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) faced a heckler who was speaking out against his education policies. But DeSantis didn&#8217;t back down. Instead, he declared that he would not allow people like the heckler to &#8220;impose an agenda on our kids,&#8221; garnering cheers from the crowd.<\/p>\n<h3>Protecting Kids from Indoctrination<\/h3>\n<p>&#8220;Those people like that in Florida are the people we beat every single day on policy, we do not let them win. We win all these battles. We&#8217;re not letting them indoctrinate our kids, not on our watch,&#8221; DeSantis continued.<\/p>\n<p>DeSantis has been a vocal advocate for protecting kids from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-homeschool-awakening-you-already-have-what-it-takes-to-homeschool-your-kids\/\" title=\"\u2018The Homeschool Awakening\u2019: You Already Have What It Takes To Homeschool Your Kids\">harmful ideologies<\/a> in the classroom. He has passed several laws outlawing the instruction of gender ideology and sexual orientation in classrooms. In 2022, he signed the Parental Rights in Education bill into law, which outlawed the teaching of those topics in grades kindergarten through third grade. It was then expanded in a 2023 bill signed by DeSantis.<\/p>\n<h3>Running for President<\/h3>\n<p>The Florida governor announced his bid for the White House last week and has been on a blitz of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/a-circuit-breaker-on-election-night\/\" title=\"The question looms: just how does it come to be that three quarters of Republican and nearly one third of Democrat voters all believe that the election was stolen from Trump?\">campaign events<\/a> in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina this week.
