The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/shark-tank-host-seeks-restraining-order-against-former-contestants\/\" title=\"'Shark Tank' host files restraining order against ex-contestants.\">show features wealthy celebrity investors listening<\/a> to pitches and choosing whether or not to invest in a product, with big names like Mark Cuban and Kevin O\u2019Leary on the rotating panel. Fashion mogul Daymond John is another frequent investor, and his portfolio includes \u201cBubba\u2019s Q Boneless Baby Back Ribs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, things have turned ugly between John and the family in charge of \u201cBubba\u2019s.\u201d According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/entertainment-arts\/business\/story\/2023-05-31\/shark-tank-lawsuit-daymond-john-restraining-order-al-bubba-baker\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Los Angeles Times<\/a>, John is seeking a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/breaking-georgia-update-judge-issues-restraining-order-for-10-days-preventing-defendants-from-destroying-or-erasing-dominion-voting-machines\/\" title=\"BREAKING GEORGIA UPDATE: Judge Issues Restraining Order for 10 Days Preventing Defendants from Destroying or Erasing Dominion Voting Machines\">temporary restraining order<\/a> and a preliminary injunction against Al \u201cBubba\u201d Baker, his daughter Brittani, and his wife Sabrina. John wants them to stop maligning the \u201cShark Tank\u201d show, as they have been doing after a Times investigation where the Bakers revealed that the investment show was a \u201cnightmare.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Bakers appeared on Season 5 of \u201cShark Tank,\u201d where they ultimately opted to take a business deal with John over O\u2019Leary. Since then, things have reportedly deteriorated to the point of toxicity. The Bakers claim that the on-air offer of $300,000 for 30 percent of the company was \u201clater revised\u201d to reflect a $100,000 investment for a 35 percent stake, a stark drop in value. They also allege that Al Baker had been excluded from key business meetings and intentionally left in the dark. Further, the Bakers claim that they\u2019ve only seen about $659,000 (or four percent) of the publicly stated $16 million in revenue the business has generated since John invested in it.<\/p>\n<p>Baker has specifically expressed disappointment in John as a fellow black man in America. \u201cI was super proud of my relationship [with John],\u201d Baker told the Times. \u201cI just never expected economic marginalism from another African American.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Business Since #SharkTank has been a nightmare saddened to find out we aren\u2019t the only small business affected by this.
