The Senate has passed the Debt Ceiling deal between Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy and President Joe Biden, avoiding a federal default. The bipartisan bill called <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/118th-congress\/house-bill\/3746\" target=\"_blank\">The Fiscal Responsibility Act<\/a> was created to lift the $31.4 trillion debt ceiling until 2025. It will also implement new federal spending cuts, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/senate-votes-63-36-approving-debt-deal\/\" title=\"Senate approves debt deal 63-36.\">resending funding provided<\/a> to the IRS.<\/p>\n<p>The Senate voted to pass the deal in a 63-36 vote, with nearly all of the Democrats and few Republicans voting \u2018yea\u2019 on the bill. The United States Treasury had <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.oann.com\/newsroom\/treasury-says-u-s-will-hit-the-debt-limit-as-early-as-june-1st\/\" target=\"_blank\">warned<\/a> that the country would run out of money by June 5<sup>th<\/sup> if Congress failed to act. After the vote, the first-ever U.S. default was averted just a day ahead of the deadline.
