On Wednesday, she locked her Twitter account and published a series of tweets complaining about online commentators who highlight Lizzo\u2019s brand as the queen of \u201cbody positivity.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cHow is Lizzo still THIS fat when she\u2019s constantly moving this much on stage?! I wonder what she must be eating,\u201d wrote author Layah Heilpern.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The remark pointing out that it\u2019s impossible to outrun a bad diet left the 35-year-old stadium singer enraged. Despite her rigorous routine as a world-famous performer, Lizzo\u2019s size still calls into question the activist\u2019s eating habits. While exercise is important to regulate metabolic function, weight is dictated by diet more than anything else, wherein hormones and enzymes control whether fat is stored or lost.<\/p>\n<h3>Time for a Change<\/h3>\n<p>The outrage expressed Wednesday, however, could also be the first step towards better health and a better life, not just for Lizzo but for her millions of fans who fall into the trap of aggressive body positivity that leaves them fat, sick, and depressed.<\/p>\n<p>A real commitment to health begins in the kitchen starting with the complete elimination of deadly ultra-processed foods. Industrialized foods, however, make up 60 percent of calories in the typical American diet, probably because, on average, they\u2019re 52 percent cheaper courtesy of taxpayer subsidies. Americans who raise the white flag on the obesity epidemic would clearly rather be rich and sick than healthy and poor.<\/p>\n<h3>Leading by Example<\/h3>\n<p>Cultural influencers such as Lizzo are providing little incentive to reverse the trends in obesity and a deteriorating lifespan. Obese teens today can already expect to live five fewer years than their parents and will likely have to pay at least twice as much in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/doj-vows-to-appeal-court-ruling-against-cdcs-eviction-moratorium\/\" title=\"DOJ Vows To Appeal Court Ruling Against CDC\u2019s Eviction Moratorium\">health care expenses<\/a>. Meanwhile, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/lizzo-feeling-bad-about-weight-comments-could-be-the-first-step-toward-better-health\/\" title=\"Lizzo's weight comments may lead to better health.\">research shows clear correlations<\/a> between diet and brain health.<\/p>\n<p>As cliche as it sounds, the first step to solving any problem is to acknowledge it. It\u2019s not enough to simply \u201cmanifest\u201d your way into any situation. Lizzo\u2019s breakdown could be the trigger that she and her fans need to prioritize health above anything else. Black Americans in particular, who suffer from the highest prevalence of obesity, could use a health-conscious Lizzo\u2019s activism.<\/p>\n<h3>Take Action<\/h3>\n<p>If you&#8217;re ready to prioritize your health, start by eliminating ultra-processed foods from your diet. These foods are deadly and make up 60 percent of calories in the typical American diet. Instead, focus on whole, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/following-the-nutritarian-diet-to-prevent-cancer-and-chronic-diseases\/\" title=\"Following the Nutritarian Diet to Prevent Cancer and Chronic Diseases\">nutrient-dense foods<\/a> that will nourish your body and mind.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Eliminate ultra-processed foods from your diet<\/li>\n<li>Eat whole, nutrient-dense foods<\/li>\n<li>Exercise regularly to regulate metabolic function<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It&#8217;s time to take control of your health and your life.
