The decision was made by a review committee for the Davis School District, which claimed that the Bible contained \u201cvulgarity and violence\u201d and was not age-appropriate for younger students. However, the Bible will still be available in high schools.<\/p>\n<h3>Utah Law Bans Sensitive Material from Schools<\/h3>\n<p>The removal of the Bible is in line with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-admin-to-restart-palestinian-aid-as-payments-to-terrorists-flow\/\" title=\"Biden Admin to Restart Palestinian Aid as Payments to Terrorists Flow\">law passed<\/a> by Utah State Legislators in 2022, which bans sensitive material from schools. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/children-as-young-as-5-now-forced-to-have-diversity-and-inclusion-lessons-in-new-jersey-schools\/\" title=\"Children As Young As 5 Now Forced To Have \u2018Diversity And Inclusion\u2019 Lessons In New Jersey Schools\">law states<\/a> that if a parent presents a formal request to the district, schools must remove books that contain \u201chuman genitals in a state of sexual stimulation or arousal, acts of human masturbation or sexual intercourse, and fondling or other erotic touching of human genitals or public regions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Since the law passed, dozens of books have been removed from schools around the state. However, the decision to remove the Bible has been controversial, with some arguing that it is a backhanded slap to parents who are trying to keep a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/pa-supreme-court-throws-out-school-mask-mandate\/\" title=\"Pa. Supreme Court throws out school mask mandate\">healthy learning environment<\/a> for all students in the schools.<\/p>\n<h3>Appeal and Review Process<\/h3>\n<p>The decision to remove the Bible from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/michigan-parents-sue-school-board-for-allowing-pornographic-books-in-schools\/\" title=\"Michigan Parents Sue School Board For Allowing Pornographic Books In Schools\">school shelves<\/a> has already been appealed by a different parent. The district will now form a committee consisting of three members of Davis School District\u2019s Board of Education to review the original complaint and the recent appeal. Once a review is finished, the committee will make a recommendation to the full board on how to move forward.
