He even pointed to the black sandbag that caused him to stumble before walking off the stage on his own power.<\/p>\n<h3>Celebrating the Graduates<\/h3>\n<p>Before the incident, President Biden delivered a speech to the cadets and handed out diplomas to the 920 graduates. It was a momentous occasion for the young men and women who have dedicated themselves to serving their country.<\/p>\n<h3>Reassurance from the White House<\/h3>\n<p>White House Communications Director Ben LaBolt took to Twitter to reassure the public that President Biden was okay. &#8220;He&#8217;s fine. There was a sandbag on stage while he was shaking hands,&#8221; LaBolt tweeted.<\/p>\n<p>This isn&#8217;t the first time President Biden has taken a tumble. He fell off his bike while greeting a crowd in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, in June 2022, and has stumbled up the stairs to Air Force One on a few occasions. But each time, he has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-falls-flat-at-air-force-academy-graduation-ceremony\/\" title=\"Biden fails at Air Force Academy graduation.\">bounced back quickly<\/a> and continued on with his duties.<\/p>\n<h3>A Presidential Announcement<\/h3>\n<p>Despite his age and occasional falls, President Biden announced in April that he will be seeking a second term in 2024.
