The company has suffered a series of losing days on the stock market, and closed Wednesday at $130.93 after falling from $159.96 in only nine days.<\/p>\n<p>Potentially making a bad situation worse, JPMorgan Chase &#038; Co. downgraded Target\u2019s stock from \u201coverweight\u201d to \u201cneutral\u201d Thursday. According to Fox News, the downgrade came because of concerns that \u201cpersistent inflation\u201d would cause a drop in consumer spending.<\/p>\n<p>The plunging stock price had set Target on its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/go-woke-go-broke-target-continues-to-spiral-gets-worst-news-since-2020\/\" title=\"Target's Woke Agenda Backfires: Suffers Worst News Yet.\">biggest losing streak<\/a> since November 2018; Wednesday\u2019s price of $131.69 was the lowest value of Target stock since 2020. Just two weeks proved enough to shave off $12 billion of the retail giant\u2019s market cap this month.<\/p>\n<h3>Is Target Another Bud Light?<\/h3>\n<p>There may be more in play in Target\u2019s market value than simply the sluggish Biden economy, however. The company\u2019s misfortunes have led some to identify Target as another Bud Light \u2014 a major American brand that has alienated itself from conservative and center-right Americans by embracing cultural progressivism.<\/p>\n<p>Bud Light has wrought disaster for the brand after its decision to partner with transgender \u201cinfluencer\u201d Dylan Mulvaney.
