Republicans <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/delaney-dead-white-house-to-pull-controversial-judicial-nomination\/amp\/\">pointed<\/a> to his work on a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/delaney-dead-white-house-poised-to-pull-controversial-judicial-nomination\/\" title=\"White House set to withdraw controversial judicial nomination after Delaney's death.\">civil case involving<\/a> a 15-year-old <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/progressive-lawyers-help-biden-administration-gut-devoss-title-ix-rules\/\" title=\"Progressive Lawyers Help Biden Administration Gut DeVos\u2019s Title IX Rules\">sexual assault victim<\/a>, in which Delaney called for her anonymity to be removed. Even left-wing groups <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/delaney-dead-white-house-to-pull-controversial-judicial-nomination\/\">called<\/a> for his withdrawal. The <em>Washington Free Beacon<\/em> also <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/groundhog-day-dems-punt-vote-on-controversial-judicial-nominee-once-again\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> on Delaney\u2019s decision to not mention his role as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/breaking-ag-barr-authorizes-federal-prosecutors-to-pursue-substantial-allegations-of-voting-irregularities-before-2020-election-is-certified\/\" title=\"BREAKING: AG Barr Authorizes Federal Prosecutors to Pursue \"Substantial Allegations\" of Voting Irregularities Before 2020 Election is Certified\">attorney general<\/a> in New Hampshire\u2019s largest Ponzi scheme on a Senate questionnaire. The New Hampshire attorney general&#8217;s office said Delaney oversaw a systemic &#8220;failure to detect and protect against the fraud inflicted on its citizens.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Wamble asked the White House to pull his nomination after waiting nearly two years for the Senate to act. &#8220;My path to this nomination began more than 18 months ago and after careful thought and consideration I feel that it is best for me to continue my work at the United States Attorney\u2019s Office in the District of Kansas,&#8221; Wamble <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/biden-judge-nominee-wamble-withdrawal-kansas-d273116abb62e3b15ab002e24ddc91b5\">wrote<\/a> to Biden.<\/p>\n<h3>NHTSA Director Withdrawn<\/h3>\n<p>President Joe Biden also withdrew his choice to lead the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Ann Carlson. Carlson faced scrutiny from Republicans, with 13 members of the Senate Commerce Committee <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/senate\/3981252-exclusive-biden-pick-to-head-national-highway-traffic-safety-administration-faces-gop-roadblock\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">signing a letter<\/a> in May raising concerns about her track record in the agency and their worries that she would <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/white-house-officially-pulls-three-nominations\/\" title=\"White House withdraws three nominations.\">overly prioritize electric vehicles<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Trend of Withdrawing Controversial Nominees<\/h3>\n<p>The reports follow a trend in the Biden White House of having to pull nominees after their controversial agendas are exposed in the Senate.
