Chip Roy of Texas appeared to take a swipe at former President Donald Trump on Fox News on Tuesday when he referenced Trump\u2019s online attack against his former press secretary Kayleigh McEnany during an interview with her.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/chip-roy-loses-party-fiery-speech-compares-moment-alamo-tired-words\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Roy<\/a> joined McEnany and GOP Rep. Byron Donalds on Fox News to discuss ongoing debt ceiling negotiations between House Republicans and the Biden administration.<\/p>\n<p>Just prior to the discussion, Trump attacked <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/mcenany-makes-bold-trump-desantis-prediction-says-face-off-will-come-one-major-factor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">McEnany<\/a> on social media when he accused her of misreporting primary poll numbers between him and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.<\/p>\n<p>Trump also commented that he felt the former face of his administration is not worthy of being employed by her network.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKayleigh \u2018Milktoast\u2019 McEnany just gave out the wrong poll numbers on FoxNews,\u201d Trump wrote on Truth Social.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am 34 points up on DeSanctimonious, not 25 up,\u201d he added. \u201cWhile 25 is great, it\u2019s not 34. She knew the number was corrected upwards by the group that did the poll. The RINOS &#038; Globalists can have her. FoxNews should only use REAL Stars!!!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>The word \u201cmilquetoast\u201d is used to designate people who are seen as ineffective, less than inspiring, or bland.<\/p>\n<p>Roy referenced the social media attack during the Fox News segment after McEnany asked him about realistic alternatives to a debt ceiling deal being discussed by President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/biden-admin-blindsided-reporters-question-american-arrested-ukrainian-govt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Joe Biden<\/a> and House Speaker <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/mccarthy-lose-house-speakership-debt-ceiling-deal-brink-crashing-burning\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kevin McCarthy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Roy opened the interview when he said, \u201cWell thanks, Kayleigh.
