The move comes after Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R., Texas) requested help from other states, as reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/virginia-gov-youngkin-sending-national-guard-troops-southern-border-aid-texas-migrant-crisis\">Fox News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Democrats Condemn the Move<\/h3>\n<p>However, Democrats in Virginia have condemned the move. Scott Surovell, a Democratic state senator, called it &#8220;Youngkin&#8217;s latest entry in the Republican presidential beauty pageant.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>&#8220;We\u2019ll definitely be looking into the legality of this,&#8221; Surovell said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3>Migrant Crisis Continues to Overwhelm Border States<\/h3>\n<p>The move comes as the migrant crisis overwhelms border states, which continue to bus migrants to Democratic cities. New York Governor Kathy Hochul (D.) told local leaders to not be &#8220;bigots&#8221; and accept migrants.
