In an interview with CNN&#8217;s &#8220;State of the Union&#8221; program on May 28, Sununu said he will make a decision &#8220;in the next week or two.&#8221; He added that when he decides to do something, he is &#8220;120 percent in.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;The money\u2019s been lined up, the support\u2019s been lined up, there\u2019s a pathway to win. All those boxes are checked. The family is on board, which is always a big one. I just gotta make sure it\u2019s right to the party and right for me.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Despite the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/d-c-mayor-muriel-bowsers-petty-hypocritical-tyranny-must-stop\/\" title=\"D.C. He hinted in April that he would decide on a run &#8220;by late June at the latest.&#8221; However, he recently said there is only a &#8220;61 percent&#8221; chance he will make a bid for the White House.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;I want more candidates to be empowered. Can I do that more effectively as a candidate? Can I do that more effectively as someone who\u2019s kind of traveling the country, maybe speaking a little more freely? I just want what\u2019s best for the party. It doesn\u2019t have to be the Chris Sununu show all the time.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Currently, former President Donald Trump remains the front-runner for the GOP nomination. However, Sununu believes there is still room for more candidates to enter the race and be empowered. He is considering what would be the best way for him to serve his party and make a positive impact.<\/p>\n<h3>Other Candidates in the Race<\/h3>\n<p>Several other candidates have already entered the race for the GOP nomination, including Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and South Carolina Senator Tim Scott.
