Chip Roy (R-TX) and Ralph Norman (R-SC), who were among the last holdouts. Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) was also given a seat on the committee.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>House Speaker Kevin McCarthy&#8217;s (R-CA) week could be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/cnn-life-should-be-harder-for-unvaccinated-americans\/\" title=\"CNN: Life should be harder for unvaccinated Americans\">made difficult<\/a> by three powerful Republican colleagues, despite striking a deal with President Joe Biden. The House Rules Committee, also known as &#8220;the speaker&#8217;s committee,&#8221; determines which bills to schedule for consideration on the floor. With nine Republicans and four Democrats currently seated on the committee, three conservatives could sink the debt deal, as all four <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-isnt-the-problem-the-democrat-party-is\/\" title=\"Biden Isn\u2019t The Problem, The Democrat Party Is\">blue members<\/a> are expected to vote against it.<\/p>\n<h3>Who Are the Three Republicans?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Chip Roy (R-TX)<\/strong> has already been critical of the deal, stating that he plans to &#8220;hold the line&#8221; when it comes to the passage of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/bidenomics-student-debt-amnesty-could-cost-1-trillion\/\" title=\"Bidenomics: Student Debt Amnesty Could Cost  Trillion\">debt plan<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ralph Norman (R-SC)<\/strong> called the deal &#8220;insanity&#8221; in the final stages of negotiations and tweeted that he &#8220;is not gonna vote to bankrupt our country.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Thomas Massie (R-KY)<\/strong> remains undecided on the legislation and could be the swing vote on the Rules Committee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If three of the GOP members vote against the bill, the only path for approval is if one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/debt-limit-crisis-how-three-republicans-could-make-mccarthys-life-difficult-this-week\/\" title=\"3 Republicans could complicate McCarthy's week amid debt limit crisis.\">minority members crosses party lines<\/a>, which is highly unlikely. The Democratic members include Reps.
