It is the biggest cut Congress has ever voted for in that process,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<h3>Historic Reductions in Spending and Consequential Reforms<\/h3>\n<p>During a press conference with reporters, McCarthy emphasized the agreement\u2019s historic reductions in spending and consequential reforms that will lift people out of poverty and rein in government overreach. He also assured the public that there would be no new taxes or government programs.<\/p>\n<h3>Vote to Be Held on Wednesday<\/h3>\n<p>McCarthy expects the text of the bill to be posted on Sunday, with a vote to be held on Wednesday.
