In an interview with conservative radio host Dana Loesch on May 25, DeSantis expressed his support for a complete overhaul of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/zoom-profits-in-2020-660-million-zoom-tax-payment-in-2021-0\/\" title=\"Zoom Profits in 2020: 0 Million. Zoom Tax Payment In 2021: federal tax code.\">federal tax code<\/a> and a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/desantis-says-he-would-sign-legislation-to-defund-corrupt-irs\/\" title=\"DeSantis supports defunding the 'corrupt' IRS and would sign related legislation.\">flat tax system<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;I think the IRS is a corrupt organization and I think it\u2019s not a friend to the average citizen or taxpayer. And so we need something totally different.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>DeSantis has long been a proponent of a flat tax system, stating in a Q&#038;A published by Palm Coast Observer in 2012 that he believed the federal tax code should be overhauled.
