The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/weinstein-accuser-blasts-hollywood-me-too-group-for-focusing-on-left-wing-political-interests-instead-of-victims\/\" title=\"Weinstein Accuser Blasts Hollywood \u2018Me Too\u2019 Group For Focusing On Left-Wing Political Interests Instead Of Victims\">men helped<\/a> the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/georgia-secretary-of-state-investigating-voter-registration-group-run-by-democrat-raphael-warnock\/\" title=\"Georgia Secretary Of State Investigating Voter Registration Group Run By Democrat Raphael Warnock\">law enforcement officer<\/a> to restrain a man who instigated a dangerous struggle with him on the side of a street.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>A fight broke out as the officer touched the man\u2019s body \u2014 with the man tossing aside his arm and soon drawing him into wrestling match.<\/p>\n<p>The assailant appeared to have the upper hand over the officer \u2014 before the three <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/suspect-thought-he-had-police-officer-taken-down-then-3-good-samaritans-showed-up\/\" title=\"Man believed he had cop subdued, but 3 bystanders intervened.\">concerned citizens proved<\/a> enough to make a difference.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>One of the men spoke about his decision to aid the officer in an interview with CBS News. \u201cI think about my kids at that moment,\u201d Everado Navarro said of his own <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ret-army-col-ralph-puckett-jr-awarded-medal-of-honor-for-brave-actions-taken-during-wwii-korean-war\/\" title=\"Ret. Army Col Ralph Puckett Jr. awarded Medal of Honor for brave actions taken during WWII, Korean War\">brave actions<\/a>. \u201cAnd at the same time, I did think the officer may have a family as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Navarro&#8217;s Heroic Actions<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Navarro grabbed the officer\u2019s attacker to prevent a lethal escalation of the fight.<\/li>\n<li>He punched the assailant in the ribs to no avail.<\/li>\n<li>His priority was to avoid the person from grabbing the officer\u2019s gun.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The officer was appreciative of the help from Navarro and the other civilians who intervened. \u201cHe said thank you at least five, six times. I could sense that he was being very honest from his heart that he knew what type of risk he was going through.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The assailant was arrested after the fight, according to KNBC.<\/p>\n<p>Just like in the parable of the Good Samaritan, these three men showed compassion and bravery in helping a stranger in need.
