Even among white Democrats without a college degree, historically an important part of the Democratic coalition, one in six said they &#8220;definitely&#8221; would not support the president&#8217;s re-election bid. Currently, only 60% of Democrats and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/2-out-of-3-americans-believe-bidens-reelection-would-harm-america\/\" title=\"2 out of 3 Americans believe Biden's reelection would harm America.\">left-leaning independents<\/a> have indicated that they will support Biden in a primary.<\/p>\n<p>Biden&#8217;s two biggest primary challengers are Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Marianne Williamson. The former has claimed that vaccines <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spectrumnews.org\/opinion\/viewpoint\/smoke-mirrors-robert-kennedy-jr-s-vaccine-safety-panel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cause<\/a> autism, while the latter says she <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanityfair.com\/news\/2019\/07\/marianne-williamson-interview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">practices<\/a> &#8220;spiritual psychotherapy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>May has been a tough month for the president in terms of polling. A recent Fox poll <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/biden-poised-to-take-blame-for-debt-default-poll-shows\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">found<\/a> that Americans are more likely to blame Biden if the United States defaults on its debt than congressional Republicans. This is a reversal of fortunes compared to former president Barack Obama, who faced a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/watch-liberal-dreams-shattered-as-biden-admin-says-no-to-14th-amendment\/\" title=\"Biden Admin Rejects 14th Amendment, Crushing Liberal Hopes.\">similar debt crisis<\/a> while in office and held a polling advantage over Republicans.<\/p>\n<p>As of Friday, only 41.8% of Americans <a href=\"https:\/\/projects.fivethirtyeight.com\/biden-approval-rating\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">approve<\/a> of President Biden, with 54.2% disapproving, according to an aggregation of polling data compiled by <em>FiveThirtyEight<\/em>. Biden&#8217;s approval rating has not exceeded 44% since August 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Biden&#8217;s poor polling seems to be reflected in his presidential prospects. Most polls conducted this month show the president <a href=\"https:\/\/projects.fivethirtyeight.com\/polls\/president-general\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">losing<\/a> the popular vote to Trump and Gov.
