Other products featured on the artist\u2019s website, which were not sold by Target, included a T-shirt with the phrase \u201cSatan Respects Pronouns\u201d and a design of a skeleton draped in rainbow colors that said \u201cTrans Witches For Abortion.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Controversy and Backlash<\/h3>\n<p>The company\u2019s stock price has declined from $152.28 on May 19, the day before activist Scarlett Johnson posted a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/target-faces-backlash-over-pride-collection-designer-behind-satan-respects-pronouns-shirts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thread<\/a> showing that Target had hired the artist to design items for the store, to $139.39 on May 25, marking an 8.5% decrease over the course of a single week. The firm\u2019s market capitalization fell from $70.4 billion to $64.4 billion over the same time period.<\/p>\n<p>Target also provoked additional controversy with a female swimsuit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/target-slammed-after-offering-female-swimsuits-that-have-extra-crotch-coverage-are-tuck-friendly\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">marketed<\/a> as \u201ctuck-friendly\u201d and \u201cextra crotch coverage,\u201d permitting men who call themselves women to wear the items.
