Republican governor and potential 2024 presidential candidate Ron DeSantis has just called out the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) for their hypocrisy. In a recent appearance on Fox News, DeSantis criticized the organization&#8217;s leaders for vacationing in Florida after warning black people not to visit the state. Talk about a double standard!<\/p>\n<p>DeSantis didn&#8217;t hold back, pointing out that some of the NAACP board members have actually contributed to Florida&#8217;s record tourism and even posted pictures of their Florida vacations on social media. Last week, the NAACP issued a <a title=\"NAACP President questioned over Florida travel advisory for Blacks after conflicting data surfaced. Watch video.\" href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/watch-naacp-president-confronted-with-data-contradicting-florida-travel-advisory-for-blacks\/\">travel advisory warning black people<\/a> to avoid traveling to Florida due to &#8220;openly hostile&#8221; policies. However, the advisory didn&#8217;t cite any data, and the <em>Washington Free Beacon<\/em> reported that black Floridians actually enjoy lower unemployment, <a title=\"NAACP claims Florida is unsafe for Black people, but data suggests otherwise.\" href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-naacp-says-florida-isnt-safe-for-black-people-data-tell-a-different-story\/\">higher median incomes<\/a>, and lower rates of hate crimes and police killings than their counterparts in other states. Oops!<\/p>\n<p>When confronted with this data, the president of the NAACP dismissed it as &#8220;propaganda language.&#8221; It seems like they&#8217;re more interested in pushing their own agenda than actually helping the people they claim to represent.<\/p>\n<p>And it&#8217;s not just the NAACP. LGBT groups have also joined in warning against visits to Florida, citing anti-LGBT laws, gun laws, abortion restrictions, and &#8220;racial prejudice&#8221; as reasons why the state is &#8220;hostile&#8221; to the LGBT community. Former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton even got in on the action, tweeting that &#8220;Ron DeSantis&#8217;s ultra-MAGA Florida isn&#8217;t safe for people of color, LGBTQ+ people, or even <a title=\"Sick Of Communist-Like Censorship? Here\u2019s A List Of Popular Uncensored Media Options\" href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/sick-of-communist-like-censorship-heres-a-list-of-popular-uncensored-media-options\/\">multi-billion dollar corporations<\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Despite all the warnings, Florida continues to attract visitors from all over the world, including NAACP leaders who apparently enjoy vacationing in the Sunshine State. It seems like they can&#8217;t resist all the fun and excitement that Florida has to offer, even if they don&#8217;t want anyone else to experience it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ron DeSantis criticized the NAACP for warning African Americans not to visit Florida while its leaders vacationed there.
