Wisner used her authority to select \u201ccourse materials\u201d to charge 600 students, according to the lawsuit. The School Caved.\">students claim<\/a> that Wisner used the money to donate to Planned Parenthood and buy an RV for a trip around the U.S. The students are asking the court to make Wisner pay back the money she took from them or at least stop using the funds for political expression.<\/p>\n<h3>Objecting to Political Speech<\/h3>\n<p>The students object to some of The Rebellion Community\u2019s political speech, citing a post on the group\u2019s Instagram page that said, \u201cI would like all the women in my life to stop for a minute, take a long, deep breath, and burn everything to the f***ing ground.\u201d Wisner allegedly described the group\u2019s content as \u201cpatriarchy-smashing content,\u201d which she defines as \u201cany expectation that couples should get married before having children,\u201d according to the lawsuit. The students suing her said they believe that \u201cGod\u2019s design for marriage, sexuality, and family \u2026 is good for both men and women and they oppose efforts to \u2018smash\u2019 this order.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>MSU\u2019s Response<\/h3>\n<p>MSU removed Wisner from the class in March after students complained about The Rebellion Community. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/michigan-state-professor-sued-for-forcing-hundreds-of-students-to-pay-99-to-join-her-radical-leftist-group\/\" title=\"MSU Professor sued for making students pay  to join her leftist group.\">school offered students<\/a> a refund for the roughly $60,000 they paid to the leftist group. The refund money came from Broad College of Business funds, MSU spokesman Dan Olsen said. Olsen also said that Wisner was no longer employed at the university.
