The specific terms of the settlement were not disclosed in the filing.<\/p>\n<h3>Avoiding Admission of Guilt<\/h3>\n<p>As criminal defense attorney <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gelmanlawfirm.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">David Gelman<\/a> points out, \u201cThe Walgreens\u2019 settlement with Theranos users avoids any admission of guilt. It\u2019s also important to note that this settlement has absolutely no impact on the verdicts or sentences of Elizabeth Holmes or Sunny Balwani.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>History will surely look back on this settlement as a blessing that nothing infinitely worse happened.<\/p>\n<h3>Potentially Life-Endangering Diseases<\/h3>\n<p>The plaintiffs in this case could have been killed by relying on the Theranos blood-testing systems, here administered by Walgreens, to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/solomon-as-drugstore-giant-settles-with-theranos-users-remember-that-this-could-have-been-much-worse\/\" title=\"Drugstore giant settles with Theranos users, could have been worse.\">diagnose potentially life-endangering diseases<\/a>.
