However, Carlson is still under contract with Fox News and likely bound by a non-compete clause from relaunching another show, something he has promised to do. He is reportedly negotiating his departure from the network.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMr. Carlson will not run for President in 2024 under any circumstances, and therefore your misrepresentations are damaging to Mr. Carlson and defrauding his supporters,\u201d said Carlson\u2019s attorney, Harmeet Dhillon, in a cease-and-desist letter to the PAC. \u201cIf you do not immediately cease and desist your efforts to solicit money to \u2018draft\u2019 Mr. Carlson, we will use every legal means at our disposal to vindicate his rights and protect his supporters from these misrepresentations.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Using Carlson\u2019s Name and Image for Personal Gain<\/h3>\n<p>Dhillon accused the PAC of using Carlson\u2019s name and image for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/did-eric-snowden-commit-crimes-in-releasing-information-on-the-deep-states-illegal-collection-of-data-on-americans\/\" title=\"Did Eric Snowden Commit Crimes In Releasing Information on the Deep State\u2019s Illegal Collection of Data on Americans?\">personal gain<\/a>, including raising money for an organization that Carlson does not support and for a goal he has expressly and unreservedly stated he will never pursue. Ekstrom put in $35,000 of his own money.
